Well, thanks for finding me! All we did, was take 1/4" satin ribbon, and run a watered down Elmer's glue (I think Modge podge works too) and run the ribbon through the glue and wipe the excess off. Then take an old pencil and wrap it in a spiral down the pencil, not too tightly. Let it dry and then remove it. It should stay in the spiral. Okay, so my kids were children of the 80's, so we would do multiple colors, and then attach them to ponytail holders or barrettes. Of course, the ponytail would have to be on the side and there were big fluffy bangs...LOL One of my nieces thought they looked like curling ribbon on a Christmas package, but they had one to match every outfit. :-) Hope that helps you.
