Default Hi Donna

Did you check the excel list in the first post of this thread. There is a mother's section and there is even a tab with links to sites that have sentiments.

Open up the file in excel at the bottom there are little tabs, all the tabs have names...one tab is links, click on it to open. If you don't have excel go to http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?k...QQ&hl=en#gid=1 and click what you want at the botoom.

A couple I have found for sympathy cards

Fear thou not; for I am with thee:
Be not dismayed; for I am thy God:
I will strenthen thee;
Yea, I will help thee;
Yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness...
For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand,
saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee

Isaiah 41:10, 13, King James Version Bible

May God light your way and give you comfort
And the love of those around you help you through the days ahead

Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I appreciated this list once more today so I thought I'd use the take a penny and leave a penny idea and leave a sentiment after taking one...

Definition: Alarm clock, n, a device for waking up people who don't have small children.

I am a newbie and have a question. Do you handwrite the sentiments or are you using the computor? If you use the computoe, could you please tell me how to do it.Thank you. I hope this is in the right place. Bunty.

For me personally, if I do it on the computer, I prefer a separate piece of paper, but cut it to fit into the card and this gives me the option of a different color, a border and plus it keeps me from writing directly on the card. hope this is clear.

But on the other hand, hand written is said to be more personal. You know how special it is to receive a hand written note from someone, compared to a type written one. But I believe it is definitely personal preference.

It's not easy for you when I'm busy. Thanks for being so patient and helping me through this time of working it out. You are very special.

Maybe it's time you talk and I listen. Lets give it a try.

your welcome. If you prefer I not post so many at one time, let me know. I want to do want is easiest for you. I have lists and lists I copied years and years ago. I just go through, pick some good ones and type. So let me know.

Hi Vivace,

What you are doing is totally fine. I just play with the list at lunchtime at work or do other fun stuff. When I get a bunch of sentiment, I usually update and since you were nice enough to provide a bunch...I will update. The best part is that you actually label each sentiment under whatever section it goes in. That really helps. Thanks for all the sentiments, I and I am sure many other people on this list appreciate it.
Hugs

Good afternoon, anyone have a good bath time sentiment for me. I just made a scrapbook page but I am not happy with it. It just needs something more, anyone want to help me out? Accepting all suggestions, here is the link to the page.

such a great resource... thanks so much! I'm new to card making and found this thread when I was searching for great fonts. I don't know much about using the computer for cards.. but I've just been printing a sentiment for the inside of the card and cutting it out in a pretty shape. Wish I had more time to read through all 23 pages of this now. I have so much to learn. Does anyone print directly to the paper and know the best way to do this? Thanks again!

I'm so glad that I found this thread. What a HUGE resource you ladies have been working on. My daughter was having troubles getting the side breathing for front crawl this summer and I came up with this great quote that we use all the time and even our school is using it. I thought it might be able to encourage someone in a card.

When you're feeling frustration, turn it into determination!! Denise L. Smith

Can't wait to find more and share them with you all.
