Hi Delia: Here are 2 websites you can go to for sentiments, quotes, titles, etc...

www.quoteland.com
www.dennydavis.net

You may be able to find some thank you sentiments in here. Not had a chance to browse through them. I got these from other SCSers.

I have these verses saved in a word document. I don't know where I got them, but my fav is the baby one!

Thank you for your friendship true,
for being there and being you,
for your heart so good and kind,
a truer friend I could not find.
Happy Birthday.

On this your very special day,
I want to take the time to say,
how very much you mean to me
and send good wishes lovingly.
Happy Birthday.

Life is filled with lots of things
that make it all worthwhile
but none is better than the love found
in your Baby's smile

It's Christmas, it's Christmas
Each merry bell chimes
A time for remembering
Old friends and old times
A time for warm greetings
Old ties to renew
And a time for good wishes
For good folks like you!
Merry Christmas

DAZZLING20's SENTIMENT

Why would you want something so common as MONEY when you can have something so rare as ME".

"me" I think that would make a cute sentiment. Kind of like one in a million

Wow, this is awesome! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Here are some I saw recently and would like to add to your collection:

It's another Christmas miracle . . . I'm sending out cards!
Thank goodness it's that time of year when being fat and jolly is a good thing!
I don't suffer from insanity - I actually enjoy it.
Pretending to be a normal person day after day is exhausting.
We've been through a lot together, and most of it was your fault.
We'll be friends until we're blue in the hair.
Happy Birthday! Youareold
If we can't laugh at ourselves, let's make fun of someone else!
Ten little fingers, Ten tiny toes, The sweetest of smiles, And a cute little nose. All these add up To one special thing -- A baby -- the best gift That life can bring.
A friend is someone who understands your past, believes in your future, and loves you today just the way you are.
Into each life some rain must fall but sunshine does appear. It brings with it a rainbow and a message that is clear. Please know that you are not alone that we all hold you dear Let faith & hope into your heart and keep your memories near.
Here's to becoming more beautiful with each passing year, and discovering the value of who you are deep within your soul.

These are from stamps I found at: http://www.addictedtorubberstamps.com

Breezysmom and imastampin thanks so much, I will definitely add these and revise the lists. But now I am going to bed. Thanks so much for your contribution. I couldn't have gotten this great list together if it were not for so many people here. I want everyone to enjoy and again thank everyone!!

Default "Love"

These were in my paper today . . .

"That Love is all there is,
Is all we know of Love;
It is enough, thr freight should be
Proportioned to the groove."
~Emily Dickinson

"Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind, and therefore is wing'd Cupid painted blind." ~ William Shakespeare
"We love because it's the only true adventure." ~ Nikki Giovanni
"It's not the men in my life who count, it's the life in my men." ~ Mae West
"But true love is a durable fire,
In the mind ever burning,
Never sick, never old, never dead,
From itself never turning."
~ Sir Walter Raleigh
"Love is the triumph of imagination over intelligence." ~ Henry Louis Mencken
"Love is everything it's cracked up to be . . . It really is worth fighting for, being brave for, risking everything for." ~ Erica Jong
Thanks for doing this thread! I've reeeaally appreciated it.

What a wonderful item to share - thank you so much for your continued work on this listing. I am at times blank on a sentiment to add to the card - this is going to be a huge help.

Wowza! This is so what I need! I love making cards but I always feel that the inside has no wow factor....now I will have lots of Wow to choose from! Thanks for doing all the leg work!

The valentine I made for my hubby this year said...

Of all the fishies in the sea, I sure am glad that you picked me!

...I used the very punny fish. It's in my gallery if you want to take a boo...

Thanks again!

You are very welcome ladies, it's nice to have the sentiments in one place when you need them. I rather be stamping than looking for something to add to the inside of the card. Enjoy!!

Lightbulb Sentiments

Hey Delia, Great idea!
I have added quite a few sentiments to you list. I highlighted all my additions in a different color and also added a couple of new catagories. I added setiments in the following catagories:
Christmas,Birthdays, Valentine, Congrats, Wedding, Thank You, Friends, Get Well, Sympathy.

I also added 3 new catagories or worksheets:
Grads, New home, New job.
Go ahead and edit what you don't like out to the main workbook.

My excel doc is the same title as yours but added Colo Nana to it to help you identify it!

Thanks for starting this! I have been looking for ideas!

Are all three the same or do I need to download each one separately? Also, will there be a post when there is an update to it? thanks.

They are all the same, I orginally did the file in Excel but some people had lower versions or did not have excel at all, so I copied and pasted into word. If the excel version works for you it's the most user friendly. I have an update coming.....I didn't get a chance over the weekend. Let me know if you have any other questions. Enjoy

Love this information... thanks so much for sharing!

I've got some in mind that I love (I'm kinda a wise guy type)

It's only a birthday honey.... (inside: now dry those wrinkly little eyes)

You've always understood me.... (inside: Frightening isn't it?)

If aging is all in the head.... what the hell's goin' on with my body?

Hope they are not repeats. Thanks again for sharing

I'm not sure how to add to the Excel file...

So here goes my collection. for now.

Seasons.
"That beautiful season the Summer!
Filled was the air with a dreamy and magical light;
and the landscape
Lay as if new created in all the fresheness of childhood."
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Friendship...

"Missing you hurts.....
Maybe I should take two chocolate fudge brownies and call you in the morning!"

"Thanks for sharing so much with me over the course of our friendship.
Successes, failures....... deserts!"

"Attention please!
Your hectic daily life is being interrupted
to bring you this important message....

...I love you! "

"It's nice to think of all the happy times
That we've shared in the past ---
But nicer still to know we share a friendship that will last."

"I'm here
You're there
One of us is
in the wrong place!!"

"When I'm with you...
... I can be me."

"We've got it all....
NOW what do we do?"

"Good friends
are always
close at heart.
I'm glad
You're close
To Mine."

"Thinking of you!
May hope be Your heart's companion
Toady and always."

Hi Judith,
I will copy and paste these onto the list. Then I will update the files on the first thread. I try to do it on the weekends when I have time. I just put the newest date of the update. Thanks so much. Delia

Friendship...

"Missing you hurts.....
Maybe I should take two chocolate fudge brownies and call you in the morning!"

"Thanks for sharing so much with me over the course of our friendship.
Successes, failures....... deserts!"

"Attention please!
Your hectic daily life is being interrupted
to bring you this important message....

...I love you! "

"It's nice to think of all the happy times
That we've shared in the past ---
But nicer still to know we share a friendship that will last."

"I'm here
You're there
One of us is
in the wrong place!!"

"When I'm with you...
... I can be me."

"We've got it all....
NOW what do we do?"

"Good friends
are always
close at heart.
I'm glad
You're close
To Mine."

"Thinking of you!
May hope be Your heart's companion
Toady and always."
