Also the updated chart will list the NESTED Shapeabilities as well (trees, mittens, bats, etc etc)

Is there any interest in sizing charts for other dies from Spellbinders, or even from another company? Just let me know...I love doing this kind of thing.

Also, a great add-on to the sizing chart is the Spellbinders Grid With Images by Brenda:

This is a great tool. I appreciate it b/c when I purchased my first sets the person working at the booth misdirected me so my circles and scallop circles don't fit right together. I was so dissappointed. I love the layer and there is way too much area that they don't look right.

If you want to layer without too large or small a space in between I suggest a large set with a small set - so Scallop Circles Small with Classic Circles Large...to me it layers just right. However I also highly recommend purchasing full sets - so both sizes classic circles and both sizes scallop circles. It gives you more range in layering.

Default New Files!

Hi everyone,
Here are the new files The files now contain all 135 sets of Nestabilities and Nested Shapeabilities, including the exclusive dies at ScrapyLand, Scrap-Mart, Heartfelt Creations and Just Rite Stampers.

There are 3 kinds of files.

The first one is in the same format as the original, only it is updated now. It is 11 pages long.

The second type of file is laid out in a table, spreadsheet style. The file has 2 versions - one has shading on every other row, and the second does not.

All 3 files are available in a Word Document, read-only OR in PDF (minus the line down the page like the original! )

Enjoy!
Attached Files
File Type: docx nestabilities_sizing_chart_table.docx (32.0 KB, 205 views)
File Type: pdf nestabilities_sizing_chart_table.pdf (55.1 KB, 288 views)

Thanks for this info. I, too, have been disappointed in the spacing, so haven't purchased anymore of these dies.

I am glad to see these can be purchased at Hobby Lobby or Joann's. I want to see them before I make my first buy. There are so many available, I want to see them in person. Thanks for all the questions and answers.

Blog Frenzy is happening right now as Spellbinders releases the next set of dies. I'm already starting the update of the chart with the sizes of the new dies as they are released. When they have all been released after CHA, I'll post the new updated chart. Have fun!

I have wanted the sizing chart forever! I started doing it myself by measuring them. I gave up after the first try. What was I thinking! Thanks so much to you that have put together such a helpful and fun system of Spellbinder Nestability charts.

Thanks again for doing this!!! I got a few a "little" while back, but haven't played with them yet (they were still in their plastic boxes - the old version!). Got out some things for a project and want to do more. I stumbled upon your measurements list & now I'm going to think of how I want to put them in with the dies.
I have 4 different sets of rectangles, but in the older version, they don't have the names on them. . . they were 2 in a pack, one scalloped, and one not. Is there a Classic Scallop Rectangles Small? (It wasn't on your list, so now I'm wondering about it. . .)
Also, just curious - Is there an update with the newer styles they've come out with?

Hi! Yes, cut the circle out, then measure it edge to edge - that will be the size of the die. Match it to the measurements in the chart and you will know which set you have Let me know if you have more questions!

Smile Big thank you Nikki

I have never made a card or imprint in my life. I have been studying options and made myself crazy trying to pick out which dies will work with which machines and what sizes are the ovals or circles or whatever and tried writing it all down and then came across your incredible chart. It must have taken you hours to put that together and I joined this forum immediately just to tell you thank you for your time and generosity! What a woman!!!

Came in to update my chart. Had an old one. Love this. Just a note: Standard Circles Lg number should be S4-114.

SUBBING!

I got woke up about an hour ago and couldn't go back to sleep. I'm sooo glad I checked in here at SCS and found this thread! What an awesome list! Thank you, thank you for all your hard work!

P. S. You asked which other dies to make a size list for... How about Quickutz Cookie Cutter shape dies? Or maybe the Fiskars ones? Or MFT? Or Simon Says Stamp? Oh, and not to forget PTI! There are more, if you really insist, lol...

Has anyone had a problem with their Spellbinders Grand Caliber not cutting properly in the middle of the plates? I had a Cuttlebug that started doing that and got this machine and it is doing it too. The problem has been with their small set of the rolled flowers and others. Thanks, Sandy J

Wow! What a great chart - I am definitely going to get a lot more use out of all my nestabilities now. This chart makes it alot easier to know which ones to use together. Thank you so much.
