THIS IS AWESOME! I have all of the CTMH colors and just can't bring myself to switch over and buy all new inks and paper. So...I just make due with what I have. I try to compare what colors I have w/what's in the SU catalog when I buy grosgrain ribbon. Thanks. The printer color codes will be really cool.

BIG THANKS!!! Tracy

Rhonda, thanks sooo much for this information! I started with CTMH, and most of my ink pads are CTMH. I really love SU! and CTMH, but I always struggle with trying to match colors. You're a gem!!! I really appreciate your sharing!

I love this list! I don't have the SU inks just CTMH. I purchased an su swatch ring on ebay and have gone thru it with the inks I have. Most of mine, that I ca me up with match yours. The question I have is this a current colors list for ctmh? I have a blush ink that I don't see listed. Thanks for all your help!

There's also an Amethyst color that's really pretty that I didn't find a close SU match for. Almost Amethyst has more blue in it.

My mom is a CTMH Demo so the only products I have that aren't found at local craft stores...Provo Craft (Roberts) and MIchaels are CTMH. Great to know I can scraplift from the wonderful cards on here and use ctmh colors.

Would anyone have the RBG codes for the 3 new Winter/Cozy colors that CTMH introduced with their new Autumn/Winter cattie:
Honey
Petal
Twilight

Would love to have those too, if anyone out there has this?
Thanks!

I am also a CTMH consultant and diehard SU fan (I belong to a monthly SU club with my demo, have nearly all the SU inkpads and of course all the CTMH ones!) and I recently sat to try and match up the new SU In Color papers with CTMH inks...the only one I couldn't find a match for was True Thyme. Otherwise:

Vintage Violet=2nd generation* Outdoor Denim
Buckaroo Blue=2nd generation Indian Corn Blue
Cool Carribean=Crystal Blue
Marigold Morning=Sunflower
Cranberry Crisp=2nd generation Barn Red

Remember, these are SU *paper* to CTMH *ink* comparisons, so they may not be exact.

True Thyme was too green compared to Desert Sand, and too brown compared to Garden Green, so I went ahead and got the True Thyme inkpad...I'm trying to keep my stash of inkpads down; it's CrAzY how many I have!!

*2nd generation=ink up stamp, stamp image on scrap paper first, then stamp "second generation" (lighter ink image) on project...KWIM?

HTH!

Default Comparison of CTMH and SU colors and printer codes

THanks to all who have created this list. I have all of SU colors and now several CTMH colors. I like both companies and now I don't have to worry what I have or use for swaps.

I am a brand new CTMH demo and have quite a bit of SU items already. This is a huge help to me. Many of my friends use both CTMH and SU as well, so I feel like this will be an awesome help to me at gatherings.
Thanks so much for sharing.

Thanks for this! I was thinking of purchasing some CTMH stamps and scrapbook kits. I love how they have so many different stamp sets right along side with their scrapbook kits to show you how they coordinate. I have every SU ink. I have all of the markers and all of the spots plus some others. I didn't want to have to purchase more inks to match CTMH papers. You have saved me so much now! Thanks Again!

CTMH offers a Jr Consultant Level, where the Minimum Quarterly spend is $100.00 (you only get a 10% commission- though) and a $300 Quarterly spend to obtain the 22% commision. The nice thing is you can float back and forth between the two and still maintain a consultancy status. I do not believe SU offers this, at least when I was researching which company to sign up with, they did not. It really comes down to a personal choice. I am sure all the direct selling companies offer great incentives and offers to their consultants.

They revised the minimums for Jr. Consultants a while back. It is now only $100 per year rather than per quarter. The only other real difference (other than commissions and quotas) between consultant and jr. consultant status is that when you are a jr. you will not be mailed a copy of keynotes (consultant magazine) but you can still view it online. But jr. consultants can still participate in autoship programs (stamp of the month & idea books). Oh, and jr. consultants cannot have any downlines....if you have downlines and drop to jr., your dowlines roll up to your upline. I hope I explained that well enough!

Thank you for the correction. I am a newbie, so I didn't realise it was 100 for the year.

Cheers,
