What a nice idea and "gift" to those of us who have wondered which colors to use with the sets. Thanks!!!

Thank you so much for keeping this updated. I used to spend so much time trying to match colors to ink that it wasn't fun! This will help a lot!

Default DSP swatch chart

I've seen a swatch chart that someone mentioned came from managers meeting. It contained 3x3 swatches of Designer Paper and it also had actual samples of coordinating ribbons and cardstock. Has anyone else seen this?

Talking DSP Swatch Chart

I saw one of these charts at one of my uplines' meetings and immediately came home and made one for each pack of DSP that I own. I find it to be immensely helpful when I'm designing cards to just pull out the charts and see what colors of cardstock and ribbon match the DSP, plus seeing each side of the DSP without flipping them back and forth. If you like, I can try scanning one and posting it...

To make mine, I cut the cardboard backing that comes in the DSP package to an 8 1/2" square. Then I cut two 2" squares from each piece of DSP (one for each side!) and mounted them all around the edges of the 8 1/2" square. Then used the Word Window punch to make coordinating pieces of cardstock, and tied little knots of coordinating ribbons - glued all that in the middle of the square. Typed a small description of the DSP - name, plus coordinating colors - on the computer and cut it out and put it in the middle as well.

Shoot - instead of waiting, I just went ahead and uploaded it! Here is the link:

Hope it works!

Question DSP Swatch Chart

Hmmm...I don't know why it would tell anyone they don't have permission to view it. If you go to the home page and look under "Most Recent Gallery Additions" and "view all of today's additions" - it's there...

I'm at work now but will be happy to email you, monniegirl, when I get home.

Janice, I couldn't see the chart either. I went to todays downloads an hour after you had posted the message that it was there, but I couldn't find it there. Nor was it in your gallery at the time. I'd love to see it.

Janice

This is it!!! Barb Mulkin shows a chart for each DSP on her blog (she mentioned she swapped with other demos to get a complete set). Take a look on her blog. I think she used 3" squares. I'd love to start a swap to make these. Do you think there would be interest?

Designer Paper - Color Match Chart

I can only think of one reason why some have been unable to view the DSP color swatch I posted last month...maybe I posted it in the "demo only" side?

Anyway, here is another one - hope everybody can see it ok! Sorry I'm not terribly computer literate.

sometimes, you need to right click on the file, and use the "save as" function to save it to your desktop, then open it. try that to see if it works. i'm also emailing the pdf to you!

Afternoon Tea coordinates with Chocolate Chip, Groovy Guava, Soft Sky and Wild Wasabi. Summer Picnic coordinates with Real Red, Bashful Blue, Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie.
