Inspiration Challenge 45 - E-Card

So, yes, I've been known to have to send electronic cards because I didn't get my handmade card made. But I tell ya, there are some great e-cards out there. This beauty came from Blue Mountain Cards.

Here is a card I made originally from the IC piece. Here is a new one I made for this challenge posting.

There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild -- be *inspired* and go get stamping!

REMINDER: Please put IC45 in the keywords box when you upload your card (no space b/n IC and the challenge number) . If you have more than one keyword use a comma to separate them. Thanks!

Hmmm... the gallery isn't playing nice, so I'm not sure when my new one will be loaded. I'll give you some time to look at the IC and then if it isn't posted I'll attach it to this post.

Wow, what a beautiful e-card - this is gonna produce some beauties, I'm sure. Thanks, Karen.

Clownmom 10-14-2006 03:37 AM

Thanks, Karen. That's a beauty. I've got another busy Saturday, but as soon as I get back from getting my hair cut, I'll give it a shot.

What an awesome inspiration piece. A butterfly in blue! What more could a girl want. I love it! Thanks, Karen.

Clownmom 10-14-2006 06:39 AM

I don't know if this worked. I got the dreaded red x again. I'll come back later to check. If it's not here, I'll try again.

Lois, the red x seems to be a bug in the new system that they are working on. If you wait about 5 min. or so, your picture should show up. Ask me how I know this... haha.

ruby-heartedmom 10-14-2006 07:15 AM

Hooray, I got to play again today! Now I have to go because DD is having a birthday party tonight and the house is a mess!

Well at first I was stumped by the sample but now that I have finished my card I could make more of it, that's how much I love the end result:

I love this inspiration challenge today! I started out making a card for the Limited Supply Challenge, but then realized I could also created it to fit this challenge. here is mine, Pink Snowflakes : http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...83928&cat=7183

As I mentioned in the upload, this is my first ever Inspiration Challenge and I love it. I will definitely be coming back...the butterfly's wings are raised, but you cannot see it on the scan. Also, I have luminere all over the butterfly which makes him glow IRL....This was definitely a fun one!

Mine's sort of a dud. My husband didn't like it much. He's usually my biggest fan.

Gorgeous piece this week, Karen. I had done a card very similar to this for one of Jen's challenges so this time went with a dragonfly instead of the butterfly. Loved the blues which is where I headed! Off to watch college football--GO MU!!

I was working on this card when I went to bed last night and with a bit of tweaking, I finished it for this challenge today. I will probably make another card later, since this wasn't my first impression from the inspiration piece.

Here's my inspired butterfly.

This is a beautiful piece to use as inspiration! Thank you Karen for the inspiration piece and your beautiful example.

And I'm finally back from my kids' cross country meet so I can finally get started! Is it a sign of true addiction that I could think of nothing but what the Inspiration Challenge might be today? Of course, I meant I thought of it AFTER my kids ran. Yeah, that's what I meant...

lacyquilter 10-14-2006 04:11 PM

This is really more what first came to mind when I saw the inspiration, so here's my second one today: priceless friendship.

Are you using your username in your file title when you save your card to your computer? If not, go to the sketch challenge master thread and follow Jenn's directions in the link (you'll see her name in blue towards the bottom of the first post). Here's the link

Here are 3 I did this evening, all totally different, but all inspired by the wonderful e-card:
