Inspiration Challenge #31 (Don't forget to add IC31 to your keywords please.)
Hello Fellow Stampers! As you probably already know, Karen is still away on vacation this weekendso I offered to choose inspiration pieces and post it for her while she is away and having fun. She will be back for the next one. I hope you enjoy the selcetions.
Sorry I didn't get this posted till now. I went out to dinner last night and it didn't agree with me very well. :( I know a lot of you like to see it and sleep on it. I usually do that as well. I hope you all will forgive me!
Feel free to translate the inspiration item into a card, a scrapbook page, or another project. Be inspired by the colors, layout, theme, or anything else -- this is up to your own interpretation!
This should prove interesting, Joyclynn. I'll be out most of the day, but I'll work on something when I return. I usually find Saturday's challenge the most difficult, but I'll give it a shot!
Joyclynn I hope you are feeling better this morning. This is definately going to be a challenge for me but I love the rug! I have company coming for the week end so I better hurry and get ready so I can sneak back down here to play!
good morning guess you really wanted to get our creative juices going with this challenge.....do have afew ideas up my sleeve......but must go do errands and grocery shopping before I can play today....looking forward to all kinds of interpretations......
Very cool rug. This looks like fun. Hope I can get this done this morning. I have a lace meeting this p.m. Hope you're feeling better this morning, Joyclynn. Thanks for filling in for Karen.
OK, so I tried to come up with something without peeking at everyone else's and it all ended up in my daughters play box!!!! (sigh) will try again when kids are snoozin....................

I got one done. I added the (weird color) ribbon to it in honor of the challenge I missed yesterday. Maybe I'll go do that one now, rather than clean!
I've seen many cards made on the gallery page, but not popping up when I type in IC31 -- I've noticed some are doing IC31 -- some are doing IC #31, and some are doing IC 31 -- any way to get them all to pop up on the same page when we type in IC31????? I'd love to see them all together.
Loved this challenge cuz I got to use one of the new colors on it. The True Thyme is such a gorgeous green. Oh and I used some of my new SU ribbon, too! (Melody, great minds must think alike. I see we used the same background stamp for the center section.)
Here's my card: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I finally got mine finished. I made it into a get well card for my MIL who just had back surgery. DH has to let me stamp if I make a card for his mother, right??? Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Just wanted to comment here that everyones cards are fantastic! They all look so fancy and elegant! Great job and thanks for playing.
Everyone of the cards today is really awesome. So different from each other and yet each one can easily be compared to the inspiration piece. That is soooo cool.

Meeee tooooo!! I loved this rug when I saw it online (at www.boscovs.com) but we are not and oriental rug kind of family. We are way too casual for that.
Honestly, every card I saw today needs to be saved to my favorites. They are are truly fantastic. Thanks to everyone for trying it, and also I can't thank you all enough for the well wishes. Once I "slept it off" I was fine. I think I ate too much dairy or something. You "IC Ladies" are THE BEST!
This one was an instant idea of what stamps and paper to use, as well as gold embossing. It just came together as easy as can be. Except for the ribbon this was a snap. Rich Faux Rug

Wow! Just checked in to see what the Saturday inspiration challenge is. That rug is so beautiful. Hmmmmm....off to see what I can do with this one.
Hope you're feeling better!
Boy, this was a tough one! But I made something totally out of character for me (which is the point, I think). Maybe the picture didn't come through very clear on my computer, but the outside edge reminded me of pansies (hey, I've got the perfect stamp for that) and then I went from there. Thanks for the great inspiration!

I believe it should always be for example IC31 OR ic31 either one will come up the same. The # sign will throw it off and also you need a coma in between if you do multiple challenges or keywords or it doesn't come up.
I did it!! I did it!! After throwing it all away this morning, I saw what beautiful cards everyone did, and I was so determined to GET ER DONE!! I am actually not embarrased to post this inspriational challenge!! Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
