Inspiration Challenge 71 - Unmentionables - IC71

This butterfly sculpture... oh ok, really, this is an ad for Fruit of the Loom sent to me by Courtney (aka coco1019).

There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild -- be *inspired* and go get stamping! View the attached image. You may be inspired to recreate the piece - but that isn't necessary...get your inspiration from the colors, layout, or 'theme'. Don't worry - no card is 'wrong'!

Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Thank you.

I've been looking for an opportunity to try out mckeans23's wonderful oval punch butterfly and today's inspiration challenge seems the perfect place.

DIdn't think I would do this tonight, but after I saw the inspiration piece I had to go get the old stand by butterfly set out and stamp a card. I love these retired butterflies. My sister sent me some beautiful handmade paper for my birthday so I made the butterfly from it. THe pretty sparkles are in it. The sentiment is also an old one that I don't remember where I got it. Thanks for the fun challenge and also for taking the time to look!

This will be interesting... I've been wanting to try paper piecing after reading a children's book w/ DS which is illustrated ENTIRELY with paper piecing images (it's a pirate book - can you see where I'm going with this?... LOL and lovely to look at!)
