Inspiration Challenge #63 - Cygnus Loop - IC63

Hi everyone. I'm your guest hostess this week, since Karen is in the midst of moving. For our inspiration this week, I found this picture called Cygnus Loop by Arnie Rosner on art.com.

Pulled out the glossy paper and the brayer for this one! This was a super fun!! I got an idea right away and it came out better then I was thinking!

I hope to be able to come up with something for this challenge. I love astronomy and it was a hobby of mine for the longest time and I was a member of The Royal Astronomical Society of Canada (RASC), but illness stopped me from going out and looking up at the stars. I did find the Cygnus Loop (NGC 6960/95) on one night. Its very beautiful and I miss gazing at the stars. Here's a link to Astronomy Picture of the Day, which I look at quite often. Here is my card. I thought of lots of color when I saw this and it also made me think of the Anne Frank quote about the world.

Oo, I love space stuff! THought about Melted Crayon Technique to create a BG, then, thought of the Happy Harmony set with the -little things, big life - sentiment. It's rather plane but I wanted the BG to be important in this card. I just make a collection!
