This year is flying by so quickly! Can you believe we're heading into September already!? So many of us are getting started with holiday cards. I'm sure I'll replicate a few cards from last year, but I'm hoping to be inspired to create several new designs as well. This week I thought it might be fun to get inspired by one of our favorite holiday sites: The Christmas Tree Shops website. So many beautiful festive photos and home dcor items to choose from! I hope it gets you in the spirit early, or at the very least inspires you to do something creative for any occasion! Enjoy!
Goals:
Please don't be tempted to upload a card that you have made prior to this challenge, just because it looks like an image on the site. Rather, take the real challenge of allowing your creative juices to flow again, and creating something brand new for the gallery!
Use the keyword: IC612 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words. Include your inspiration image in the description of your project being sure to only include links from the Christmas Tree Shop website.

For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many, or too little, images to choose from, I've uploaded 10 of my favorite designs! So just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. Click on the images below to see them bigger and to get their links on SCS.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.
Audrie this was fun and very good timing for me; as I need to get started on making more Christmas cards. My cousins bought the ones I had made last month. For inspiration I used the snowman idea on your picked ones

What a cool site, Audrie! I spent a bit of time looking around, and settled on the Enter if You Dare wall art. I used an Indigo Blu stamp- and came up with this card with a sponged and distressed sky.

Audrie- had to create another Halloween- themed card- went with a dry embossed "blueprint" for my background, adding a smaller blueprint style spider web in the lower left corner. Here's my inspiration and here's my Blueprint Spiderweb card

Audrie, thanks for the wonderful site you selected for the inspiration challenge! I am so pleased that I was able to participate today! Here is my project.
I wanted to play this challenge and make a Christmas card...I had my stamp in mind, but needed an idea what color scheme to use and what embellishment elements. In visiting the Christmas Tree Shops website, I found this inspiration: http://www.christmastreeshops.com/pr...n#.WbJeNrKGO70 (Motion Laser Light. I would do a watercolor night sky background for my stamp and keep it simple. Take a peek at my finished card: Christmas Card from an Oldie But Goodie!
