Whew! Another wonderful week has come to a close, and I'm so desperately seeking creative crafting time! Let's do something romantic, yet girly, together this week and explore the wonderful world of romantic shoes! I've selected a beautiful board of shoes which are designed for real fairy tale weddings: Shoes by the Aisle Perfect Wedding Blog. Each and every shoe just makes we want to get married all over again (well, almost - LOL)! They are so beautifully designed, and adorned with loads of bling. Each pair representing a small slice of the magic that inspires fabulous cards or scrapbook projects! Please join me as we get inspired by the romantic beauty of 'SHOES' this week!
If you are unfamiliar with how to grab the hyperlinks from a Pinterest Board, here is a helpful video:
Challenge Goals: Please don't be tempted to upload a card that you have made prior to this challenge, just because an image on the board reminds you of it - this is all about creating from an inspiration. So, please take the challenge of allowing your creative juices to flow based on the images you browse this week. Remember, it can just be the color palette or style that ignites your creativity. Whatever draws you to the designs, take the challenge of doing something uniquely inspired today.
Please remember that all inspiration links should be inspired by the Pinterest Board: Shoes!
Use the keyword: IC548 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words.
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many images to choose from, so don't subscribe to Pinterest, I've uploaded 10 of my favorites. So just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. Click on the images below to see them bigger and to get their links on SCS. Don't forget to let us know which photo served as your inspiration piece please.
Audrie- a perfect site, full of beautiful shoes! I went with the beautiful hand painted wedding shoes for my colors, and of course I had to include lace. I used a PSX stamp for my main panel, adding dc flowers from the Fresh Cuts stamp set from SU. Added a fancy purple set of bows, and some silver brads. I love wedding finery! Here's Lacy Love

I haven't done an inspiration challenge in a very long time, but this one really caught my eye. Here's mine: Dancing Shoes (IC54 by ~CA~ - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers

Audrie, I have struggled with this card all day! When I saw your challenge this morning , I thought, wedding shoes would inspire me to get an anniversary card done, that I need! I was right. But I began with Island Indigo ink, and then found I didn't have the matching paper! LOL So matched it up with the pool Party base. Then I embossed the sentiment three different times! First in Pool Party, because I had that Embossing powder. That was too light. Then with glittery turquoise. That was terrible! Finally embossed with Versa Mark and Island Indigo. Oh, and the paper! Finally did it on Whisper White. It didn't work on the shimmer that I had cut the doily out of. Then since I did it with WW, had to cut it smalleer and put the turquoise under it. Oh, it just goes on and on!!!! Sorry!
Here is Happy 50th.
It's been a while since I've been able to play in a challenge! So in spite of recent hand surgery, I toughed through the pain and made this card for today's challenge:
Those shoes are just so gorgeous (never mind that I wore ballet slippers when I got married, I wanted to be comfortable!). Here is my second card inspired by shoes from the board:
