This is another week of inspiration 'thinking outside of the box'! Have you ever made a card that you were so extra happy with that you planned to recreate it, or step it up a notch at a later date? If you're like me you might not have gotten around to doing that...but this is a good week to remember it!
This week I am challenging you to be inspired by 'your own' previous card, home decor, or scrapbook creations! Yes, this means we all have to trust you to focus only on your own previously made cards - and not just to upload them, but as your inspiration piece this week! This means that I won't be providing an inspiration site...so here is what you may use:
1. YOUR OWN blog. (This is a great week to promote your blog by playing along, and really being inspired by something you have posted there in the past....go as far into the past as you'd like.) Please try to add the link directly to the inspiration page on your blog (rather than just using the home page URL).
OR...
2. YOUR OWN Splitcoaststampers gallery. Please remember to only use what you have created, and not RAKs given to you. Please include a link to your own gallery inspiration in your description when uploading.
OR...
3. Self-designed or DIY created project in YOUR HOUSE - In this case, you'll have to show that project behind your card in your upload photo. (no hyperlink needed)
The real challenge this week is to 'BE INSPIRED BY YOUR OWN CREATIONS / DESIGNS'! Trust me, this can be really fun, and gives you the freedom to reinvent the designs you are most proud of (or maybe didn't originally like at all)! If you are a brand new stamper....note the options of the photos attached below.
To help you to wrap your mind around this, I've included Part 2 of a YouTube video that I uploaded several years ago: Inspiration comes from ...non-card sources & YOURSELF". It is in perfect alignment with this challenge. (FYI: If you're interested in seeing Part 1 it's here.)
Inspiration Tips.....if you're in a hurry start at the 4:24 frame:
Challenge Goals: Don't be tempted to upload a card that you have made prior to this challenge, really take the challenge of creating something new and unique from this weeks inspiration. Remember, it can just be the color palette or style that ignites your creativity. Whatever draws you to those cherished designs, take the challenge of doing something new and uniquely inspired today .
Use the keyword: IC487 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words.
In case you're brand new to stamping and don't have much of your own inspiration, I've uploaded 10 really diverse designs that you can focus on to kick-start your creativity. Click on the images below to see them bigger and to get their links on SCS. Don't forget to let us know which photo served as your inspiration piece please.
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.

I was inspired by my card Playful Bunnies and decided to go with a green/turquoise color motif for my bunny. Stamped images are from my stamping buddies, and I did a star punched border, along with some sponging. Photographed outside our patio in the grassy common area. Here's Green Easter Blessings
