You're currently viewing Splitcoaststampers as a GUEST. We pride ourselves on being great hosts, but guests have limited access to some of our incredible artwork, our lively forums and other super cool features of the site! You can join our incredible papercrafting community at NO COST. So what are you waiting for?
This week I wanted to have fun with color and style, so I've decided to go with the cool and snazzy: "Ralph Lauren" website. This is a site that pops with creative design elements and products, and I'm sure everyone will find something special that suits their own creative interests! Since I don't have a guest hostess this week, I'm kicking off the challenge with several of my own CAS card designs! Please enjoy!
Challenge Goals: Don't be tempted to upload a card that you have made prior to this challenge, just because an image reminds you of it. Rather, take the challenge of allowing your creative juices to flow based on your impressions when you look through the images. Remember, it can just be the color palette or style that ignites your creativity. Whatever draws you to the designs, take the challenge of doing something uniquely inspired today .
Please remember that all inspiration links should be inspired by images from the Ralph Lauren.
Use the keyword: IC440 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words.
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many images to choose from, I've uploaded five of my favorites...so just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. Click on the images below to see them bigger. Please let us know which photo, or photos, served as your inspiration piece in your description please.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.

Love, love the first thumb. And the second too, I was messing around with blue and white last night but it's in the bin.
However, with several guy birthdays coming up in June and July, I used the 4th thumb . IC440 Leathers to Go
Everyone's cards are AMAZING today!! I wanted to let you know that I'll be on and off today as I'm in my craft room trying to find the floor! I've got to get some cleaning done! But I'll be checking in hourly.
Audrie- awesome site, thanks! I was inspired by the Lightweight Polka-Dot Scarf with its blues, polka dots, and scarf=winter theme. I used Paper Smooches' Freezy Fellas for my image and sentiment, and added some patterned trees from gift tape. Adorned my snowman with a silver pom pom on his cap, and a white and pink tie. Added some silver trim and an acorn top for my sentiment decorations.
Here's Wicked Cool

I didn't to go all white on white, so I used minimal color. I used a cheater card for this one - it is all white with silver trim. I colored the flowers & hearts in colored pencil. I used blue ribbon with white polka dots for the bow. The flower was made with the rose creator spellbinder. I tipped the rose petals with blue ink and the leaves with dark green. I used a silver brad for the center of the rose. This is for my grandma's 85th birthday. Hope she likes it. TFL
I love the Inspiration Challenges, but my Saturdays are usually so full I don't get to play. Today was a happy day for me, a free Saturday! And I usually wander through the inspiration site before I decide, but today, one of the selected items spoke to me the instant I saw it:
I immediately thought of my beloved "Floral" background stamp, long retired, but still a favorite of mine. I had fun creating the straw "charger" plate under the dish, and here is my result:
I just had to do another one- this time, inspired by the Smocked Cotton Jersey Dress. Got in some texture with embossed pieces and some ribbon and Washi Tape. Here's Sealed With A Fish

Another combined challenge card for today's WT479, my color palette and main dp panel inspired by a wallet at Ralph Lauren. Thanks Audrie for taking us to this site which is filled with inspiration!
