I was in Target last week and found this plate and fell in love - so I bought two (I figure the kids can use them). The plate is in the Independent Studies line by Melamine.
There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild -- be *inspired* and go get stamping!

That's a very interesting-looking plate. Will have to sleep on that one. It looks a little oriental -- nothing in my stamp pile to fit that -- so I'll have to come up with something else. We'll see!
Hmmmmmmmmmmm, might get a head start on everyone seeing how this was just posted. Looks like my tongue after a night of drinking and first waking up, lmao.

I love the colors on the plate!! I haven't been able to do a challenge all week - hopefully I will get a chance to do this one. I think I have some ideas for this. Thanks for a great challenge, Karen!
Great inspiration, Karen!! So glad you post early so we can "sleep on it".. hehe. I'd go stamp NOW, but my kid is sleeping in my craftroom! LOL (cool room to sleep in, don't ya think?)

Here's mine but I think I'm going to try again. I've only had one cup of coffee!
In the inspiration challenge today, I saw the swirls and the colors purple and pink. So I used those in doing my card. I also found it fun to weave ribbon onto ribbon. I folded the purple ribbon in half and snipped with small scissors every 4th line then used a large needle and wove the pink ribbon. I experimented with making the pink ribbon flat or twisting it. Another great piece, Karen. A little short on time today, so didn't try to overthink this and just went with my first impression. Liked all the two-tone images and modern look and got to play with my new backgrounder again. Inspired Tulip

Well believe it or not, it 12:30 here and I'm just starting to move today! I think this might be a bad thing. Great challenge and I well see what I can put together today!

and....here it is....it truly was one of those cards that grew step by step....at the beginning I only knew I wanted to do it circular to mimic the palet.....had to make it 5 1/2 square to fit the circle and give me enough room to do something with it.....thanks for looking Fern & Floral

Here is my Red Rose. Took me 4 tries to get this, so I had to quit while I was still SANE!! I see though that a lot of us had trouble getting what was in our head down on paper!
I decided to go with the color scheme and really had a hard time. First three attempts will not be seen in public! I'm not entirely happy with this one, but it's done. Here's only one rose.
