This week's SplitCoast Stampers Inspiration Challenge comes from the amazing Etsy Store of Decoylab (Decoy+Laboratory).
Since 2007 Decoylab has been in the business of making laser cut clocks using bamboo and other sustainable wood materials. In the last couple of years, they began extending their product range to other housewares and accessories. Decoylab's mission is to provide playful yet functional few-of-the-kind objects for children to young-at-hearts.
I invited Jane ( janemom ) to join me and make an additional inspired card this week.
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many choices, I’ve uploaded five of my favorites … so just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration.
The rest of you, remember to let us know which item from Decoylab that inspired you.
Use the keyword: IC378 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.
Thanks for taking us to this terrific Etsy shop, Stephanie! There are so many wonderful, wood-grain and ivory inspiration pieces. Can't wait to see what all everyone makes!
I was inspired by the Hedgehog Bamboo Brooch in the wonderful Decoylab gallery- and used this cute dc hedgehog I have been saving, along with my new Papertrey Fillable Frames #2 mini stamp set and matching die. Added a green and white ribbon. Here's Thoughtful Hedgehog

Even though the Inspiration Challenge is my favorite, I haven't played in a couple of weeks. I was so glad I had the time this morning. Here's my card: Decoylab Mushroom .
Challenges I participate in: Inspirational Challenge, Sketch Challenge, Feature Stamper, Color Challenge, Ways to Use It, Sweet n Sassy Challenge, Christmas Cards, Word Art Wednesdays, Sweet V's Ideas and I am a proud Tea-Potter Challenge participant.
I was inspired by the Decoylab's Modern wall clock It's my forest orange acrylic with its bold color and owls motif. I used Inkadinkado's Bird Assortment for my distressed card, and Spellbinder's Beaded Squares die. Here's Cool Owl
