Hi Everyone!

Happy to be your host this weekend for the IC on behalf of Stephanie!

The web store for the Inspiration Challenge this week is "Modern Lola". This web store features colorful items that are "fun and practical" and ultimately fit into the category of "Modern beautiful things"!

So go on and browse the fun "Modern Lola" website and be inspired! Use keyword IC296 (no spaces or extra characters) and be sure you have commas between your key words.

If you don't have time to spend browsing the website, attached are a few of the many samples from the store that you are welcome to use as your inspiration!

Hi Anne, thanks for the fun challenge. I just finished making this card for the DTGD challenges and found the hot air balloon party napkins plates, etc so I am submitting this card for the IC.

Great challenge Anne. Here's my card to this challenge and the inspiration for it.

Here is my second card for todays challenge where I also used the Flirtatious material from SU. I cut out flowers and the top note using material. I embossed the background and added buttons and a saying. This was fun to work with material instead of paper.
I've attached the inspiration photo for this card as well.

What a fun site! Thanks for the great challenge! Here is my card, Inspired Monogram.

There is a story behind this card. When I saw this dress on the site, I almost flipped because I made a dress almost exactly like this for my daughter's 4th birthday. The only difference between the dress I made and the inspiration dress was that mine Criss-crossed in the back, Mary Dee by The Children's Corner for any sewers out there, and originally had pleats at the bottom and no rick rack. When I took the pleats out to add more length to the dress as she grew, I added the rickrack to cover up the lines left by the pleats. Well, my daughter will be 19 in two weeks, so I just had to make this card!

I haven't participated in a challenge in a long time, but this was a great one to join! I selected a floral plate for my inspiration piece. Here is my card: Inspired Flowers
