Inspiration Challenge 295 ~ L’affiche Moderne

This week’s Inspiration Challenge comes from L’affiche Moderne. L’affiche Moderne is a French online gallery presenting the works of young photographers, graphic designers, and children’s illustrators. They created a place where great artists and people who appreciate art can be brought together … a place where all people loving art, despite a shoe-string budget, can become art collectors.

For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many choices, I’ve uploaded five of my favorites … so just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. The rest of you, remember to let us know which item from L’affiche Moderne that inspired you (you can link to pages, but no individual items, so just tell us where you item is located on that page).

I asked Yvonne (Diamondangelfish) to join me this week to provide an additional inspired card.

Use the keyword: IC295 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words.

How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!

Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.

I'm finally getting to upload what I made yesterday. I was in a rush to finish up a banner for a surprise anniversary party, so I didn't get much of a photograph of the finished product, but each flag was made just about the same. Here's the H in my happy anniversary banner inspired by the Berriere print.

Great inspiration place! I was a little stumped at first until I stumbled upon this adorable picture and pulled the colors from it to make a baby congrats card. Thanks for the great challenge!
