This week's SCS Inspiration Challenges was suggested by Lorie (MelodyGal) who thought it would be fun to visit the wonderful world of Barbie. I was a huge Barbie fan as a young girl and spent hours playing in Barbie’s make-believe world. My best friend had the three-story Barbie play house, where our Barbie, Skipper & Ken lived their very glamorous imaginary lives. I hope you have fun finding inspiration from the world of Barbie.
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many choices, I’ve uploaded three of my favorites … so just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. The rest of you, remember to let us know which Barbie that inspired you.
Use the keyword: IC268 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.
Is anyone else having issues viewing the IC268 gallery?? Or is it just me? I can't even FIND my card!! :/

I wish I had just half of the Barbie clothes I sewed for my girls when they were little. I made most of their clothes and their Barbie's would get a new outfit out of the left overs.
There were days I thought I would loose my mind or go blind making those tiny outfits.
The website is a hoot and really brings back memories. THE doll to have when I was little was Tiny Tears.
Not a lot of time this morning..........my dearest friend and stamping buddy, Margaret, has moved to a new apartment and I'm going today to help set up her stamping area.

ya know, I saw Barbie, and thought, oh wow, lets go back down memory lane. But I'm looking at the site, and they have so many different versions of Barbie it just doesn't seem right. When did Ken get real hair?!
