Splitcoaststampers.com - the world's #1 papercrafting community
You're currently viewing Splitcoaststampers as a GUEST. We pride ourselves on being great hosts, but guests have limited access to some of our incredible artwork, our lively forums and other super cool features of the site! You can join our incredible papercrafting community at NO COST. So what are you waiting for?
Stephanie has asked me to fill in this weekend and of course I am always happy to oblige, so I found some "yummy" inspiration for you!
The web store for this week is called "Better Bit of Butter Cookies"! The cookie company is owned by Christine Mehling whose training (and degree) in Fine Arts and love of baking eventually gave birth to her cookie company. Christine's CAS cookie designs reflect her preference of bold graphics and repetitive images. You're bound to be inspired (and drool!) over her simple designs, so I hope you'll go to "Better Bit of Butter Cookies" and give the challenge a try!
Use the keyword: IC254 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words.
NOTE: I was not able to isolate individual pictures of the cookies, but I was able to link to the categories separately. So if you can, please indicate in your description which cookie inspired your card by naming or linking to the category it's from and identifying it by row and placement within the row ( absolutely not a requirement, only a suggestion as a courtesy to the store owner!).
How to Play ~ View the attached images and/or browse the suggested website. Get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go on -- get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.
Hmmm, well let's see! I should play since I havent been on here in such a long time, busy life! These look so yummy, but I dont think I can play. I am tired after being at a high school football game all night.
Just wanted to say hello to all my SCS friends...
Hope to get back soon!

Here is my Buttery Cookie card inspired by Premier Wedding Cookie #9. The decoration in the corners of the cookie reminded me of the crocheted lace I had in my stash.
