This week's SCS Inspiration Challenge comes from the Etsy store of LoveArtWorks Clay Originals. Artist Kristin Love considers her work a celebration of the eclectic, colorful, and passionate world we all live in, and a joyful salutation to the artist in all of us. She is committed to making pottery that is both beautiful and durable, designed for many years of joyful service and smiles, and to this end, makes environmentally friendly choices and produces pottery with generations of sustainability in mind. In addition to her gallery, you can also browse the works she has already sold (she indicates she takes special orders, if one of those interests you).
Remember, please respect Kristen’s unique artistic creations & do not use print-outs of her art in your card or directly copy her work.
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many choices, I’ve uploaded three of my favorites … so just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. The rest of you, remember to let us know which product from LoveArtWork Clay Originals that inspired you.
Use the keyword: IC237 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words.
ETA *** note from Kristin Love: I looked for a place to write a "Thank You" on the page and all of the little buttons I pushed said that I must "sign in". Is there a possibility that you could tell all the wonderful "Peeps" that I am so Grateful and absolutely Astonished at their cards and creativity? They are all so clever, beautiful and well done and I have gotten some interesting insights into my own art as well.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site).
