IC227 ~ Home Sweet ____________
Inspiration Challenge 227 ~ Home Sweet ____________
This week's SCS Inspiration Challenge was suggested by
Christy S . While she was in Japan, she was missing her home state of Texas, so she made a Texas-themed card. This week’s challenge is to make a card inspired by your home state, province, town or country. It could be where you were born, where you grew up and still call "home", or where you live now.
Here’s a website with a lot of
state-themed resources and ideas & a link to the
World Fact Book .
Use the keyword:
IC227 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words.
Christy S’s sample ~
Home Sweet Texas
My sample ~
Dogwood Love
IC227 Gallery
How to Play ~ Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration theme your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.

What a neat idea, Step and Christy! I'll have to think on which 'home' state to use!

Here is my card. It's SO Tennessee. Music notes for Nashville where I grew up (Music City USA, you know) and the card itself is so similar to our state flag here:
TN State Flag
Here's the card:
Tennessee Rock Star

A good thought-provoking challenge, Stef. I'm sure many live in more exciting places than I do, but home is home! : )

Cool, I love this idea. Forty shades of green??
I'll be back later after I've had time to narrow my ideas down.
Thanks, Stef.
