IC190 ~ Better Homes & Gardens Living Room {7-25-09}
I'm thrilled to be guest host for the IC this weekend while Stephanie gets a much-needed weekend off. I hope you have as much fun with this challenge as I did getting ready for it!
I love room challenges, and since we haven't done one in a while, I decided to pick one out for you this week. This Better Homes & Gardens living room just grabbed me right away. I love the bright and summery colors - especially since I've been realizing that fall is just around the corner! I've uploaded three of my favorite images of the room here, but you can see more if you click the link. You should have no trouble finding something in this room to inspire you!
Use the keyword: IC190 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). I didn't even look at the whole living room ideas, I just chose the Citrus Living Room that was shown...Hmmm, I think I may have to go check all the other rooms out!

I was very inspired by the flowers that were made from buttons on the pillows. TOO CUTE. I cannot seem to get the link - but it was slide 3 of 16 - the "dusty durango" pillow with button flowers that inspired me. I was not going to do the challenge this week as we had an absolutely emotionally and physically exhausting week with my new grand daughter rushed to the hospital and being admitted for two days......thank GOD in HEAVEN she is fine now.....but what a week. So I thought, no - no challenge tonite but I will just see what the inspiration is - well that pillow was in my dreams and I got up early this morning to be fully inspired!! Here it is:
Thanks for hosting Lori!! what a great living room and so many nice views of it! I chose the fireplace section for my card - I'm out the door leaving on vacation but just had to make my card! I'll be back later tonight to comment on everyone's creations!
