I don’t watch a lot of TV, but there are a couple of shows that really capture my attention … and one of those is AMC’s Mad Men. I am not only mesmerized by the characters and story, I also love the fashion, furniture and advertising design of this series set in a Madison Avenue advertising agency in the 1960’s.
I have uploaded several photographs of the women’s fashions, but feel free to find inspiration in any facet of the show ... just make sure you link us up to your inspiration.
Here are a couple of photo galleries to get those ideas flowing:
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.

Ohhh love this challenge - thanks Stef! I love this show and like you it's not just about the story line but about the era...so fun and classy! I'm off to play!
Well, that's a challenge alright! Not familiar with this as we don't have TV at all, so I've had a quick look at those great links and have a couple of possibilities to come back to.
That's what I call a CHALLENGE!!! Wow!! I took my colors from the portfolio pics, and these skaters seem to be that era, (I have never see nor heard of this show - no big surprise there) and the gingham black seems to be a kind of look in the ladies fashions......FUN and CHALLENGING!! Thanks Steph!! You really come up with unique stuff! Fun to play early in the day for me!! Here's my card:
WOW! What a challenge. I never even heard of the show. But, in looking at the advertising site, I picked the Samsonite luggage one. Somehow, I had the perfect image for it.
OMGoodness!! If this worked this is my first time using words for my link instead of the URL! Whoohoooo!!
THANK YOU JUDY!! You rock!!
You are so welcome, Cary!
