This week’s inspiration comes from the works of Don Li-Leger. Barb (bsgstamps4fun) suggested art.com as a great place to find some inspiration, and that is where I found Don’s gallery.
Renowned Canadian artist Don Li-Leger has been spinning ethereal fantasies of color, light and texture for 30 years. Li-Leger’s signature style, called “Asian Fusion,” infuses his abstract artwork with touches of Asian art and Eastern philosophy and a texturally rich collage of calligraphy, geometric forms and natural elements. After studying plant ecology in college, Li-Leger painted the birds and animals of British Columbia, until trips to the Orient and North American wildlife sanctuaries shifted his creative focus. The symbiosis of art and natural forms is the underlying theme of Li-Leger’s art, which is inspired by the cherished flowers in his own garden.
I have uploaded three of his creations, but feel free to use any of Don Li-Leger’s art, or just his overall theme and style, for your inspiration.

How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.
Girl, I've been waiting for this, and let me assure you in no way am I disappointed. Love the challenges you come up week after week, Stef. Thanks so much.

Oh my goodness! I cannot wait to see each and every painting...I'm sure it will be a tough choice! More than that, I cannot wait to see what everyone comes up with...tomorrow will be an awesome day for the gallery! Thanks Stef for a fantastic inspiration challenge!!!
I'm tired after working second shift so this didn't exactly turn out as planned. Oh, well...Here's MY CARD.

OMG! I drool over this guy's art everytime I get a catalog from All Posters (same as art.com I think). I cannot imagine a better IC! Now sadly, I am woozy from a cold tonight and have morning obligations as well. But I WILL play! (And, truth be told, this artist has inspired other cards in my gallery . . . )

So glad you chose this artist, his colors are beautiful and so much to choose from. I'll have to see what I can come up with later in the day. Thanks so much Stephanie for such great inspiration!
wow, great choice. He has awesome stuff. I wish I could play, but I have about 400 cards made, and I plan on unloading some today at a craft fair. Wish me luck!!!! Oh, can you tell I'm a stamp-a-holic?!!! LOL
Great, great challenge Stef. This is my first inspiration challenge and what better way to try than with one of my favorites! Too bad I don't do him justice! Anyway, here's my take on his "View from Huang Shan"..... View from my mind's eye
