We pride ourselves on being great hosts, but guests have limited access to some of our incredible artwork, our lively forums and other super cool features of the site! You can join our incredible papercrafting community at NO COST. So what are you waiting for?
Stephanie will be back again next week! Hope you enjoy this week's challenge!!
The inspiration photos are attached below. They can be found at this website: Table Settings with Pictures. This particular table setting was featured in O Magazine. I loved the colors and the Asian inspiration (since my daughter and husband are Asian ). Excerpted from O Magazine: "Whether you're celebrating Christmas, Kwanzaa or Chinese New Year, bold colors and rich textures make for happy hosting." (And happy stamping I hope!!) You know it's going to be beautiful if Ophra approves!
So get inspired!! No need to feel like it has to be Asian themed, just get out your paper, ink and stamps and see where the image takes you. You may find that the red glasses or the rose centerpiece or the design of the plates catches your fancy!
Be sure to use the keyword: IC140 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card.
How to Play ~ View the attached images or check out the link. Get your inspiration from the colors, style, detail or even the subject, just whatever kicks your mojo into gear!! Enjoy wherever your creative journey takes you today! Make the inspiration piece your own.
Don't worry ~ There are no rules and no card is 'wrong'. There is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge.
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site).
Thank you for joining me today on this inspiration journey.
OMG, Anne, the colors are FABULOUS!!! I just love to make oriental cards, too, so this challenge is right up my alley...besides, if it's good enough for Oprah, it's good enough for anyone!!! Hope to get started in the morning.... thanks for hosting!!!
Just got home from work and the challenge was posted early, so off I went to my stamping corner. The pic is a little blurry but I'm too tired to take more pics at 1:15 AM: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...0&ppuser=38399

Hi everyone! I had LOTS of help from Speedy the Cat this morning...He, for some reason, LOVES my little box of antique pins, and placed them under the bath mat last night....I figured out a way to use them, too! LOL!
WoW! This looks like tough. I'm not a big fan of asian decor. But I'll try. Thats what challenges are for, right? To take us out of our comfort zone and try something new. Here I go......

I just LOVED this inspiration piece, thank you so much for choosing it for us today, Anne.
I usually struggle with inspiration pieces, but this was a cinch. I even happily sacrifced a precious piece of washi paper for the fan.
What a beautiful table setting - although I doubt I'd ever chose these colors - do like it though. I chose the brown chair with red cushions as my inspiration - hope you like it
