OKAY, so I own 458 gazillion stamps and no rooster....so I took my inspiration from the gallery. Actually, I wanted a break from my convention swap cards, a creative break.....but I struggled so much with this silly card that I HAVE to post it now, I wish I could show you how much paper I threw away getting to this point and it still doesn't sing to me.....but for what it's worth, here it is. PHEW!! I can't wait to go back to my swap cards!! I needed that!! So here is my frustrating entry:

I enjoyed looking at Kay Lamb Shannon's gallery and also at all the work that people have done today. There are some great interpretations.
But I have no rooster stamps, and the pictures are all very American, and in a style that isn't like any stamps I have - so I don't have any ideas.
Maybe the colours will talk to me overnight.
I just took a quick look at today's gallery and oh my goodness there are some masterpieces in there today.
........................A BIG WOW TO EVERYONE........................................
p.s. I forgot to add that I'm going to highjack all of the chicken and rooster cards cause we all know.....
..........I LOVE CHICKENS AND ROOSTERS.............
I have these little critters all over the house and out in my garden in every shape and form. You all better keep an eye on those gorgeous cards. LOL
My card for today's challenge was inspired by the Folk Art Theme Kay Lamb Shannon captures in her gallery.
I did my own thing and created a card with the folk art windows I love so.
So the rooster is running around the yard chasing the hens and the out house was torn down last year and a new bath with this pretty little window were added onto the main house.....
It's been a while since I have done an Inspiration Challenge. This was tough, since country/folk is not my style. But I was still able to do 2 coordinating cards...this was fun!!

My card was not showing in the gallery so I am attempting to correct this minor technical difficulty.
Anne, Thanks for the info..I do feel a little IT challenged this evening....LOL
So lets try this again...
Here is my card..Thanks for looking!
It is mounted on DP covered chip board so it can be hung on a wall. It took me a few hours to decide what to do with the image after I stamped and colored it and then cutting it out and putting it together. But I feel it was worth it & I really like how it turned out.
