I am fascinated by the technique of enameling. This week's inspiration comes from the beautiful pieces by Mackintosh Enamels. I am lucky enough to have one of their light switch covers in my bedroom, and I love it.
I uploaded three images of their work, but feel free to be inspired by anything from their catalog … just make sure you provide a link to your inspiration when you upload. Also, please make something new for the challenge.
Use the keyword: IC135 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.
Okay - I'm excited - these are my DH's cousins... Wait until I show him! I was lucky enough to get a piece as a wedding gift - the colors are really amazing!!!

Wow! I didn't actually expect to find the challenge posted yet - thanks, Stef! Inspiration challenges are my fave, and this looks like a fun one! It's too late tonight on the East coast to start, but I'll probably be up early tomorrow, so I can play then! Yippee!
I like it when you post in the PM so we can fall asleep thinking about the lovely pieces that you select. Seriously, these are wonderful! The colors are so vibrant - the IC gallery is gonna be filled with color tomorrow!!! Thanks for the inspiration, Stef!

You pick the coolest stuff! Mom used to have a 'painting' like this when I was little. They put enamel paints on in layers and baked them. They turned out pretty cool too!
