Inspiration Challenge 130 ~ Movie Dresses

Thanks so much for the fabulous participation in last week’s challenge. I had so much fun admiring everyone’s wonderful creativity.

LeisaJane made a beautiful card inspired by Rose’s Tea Gown from the movie Titanic and suggested the challenge to make a card inspired by a movie dress.

I had a great time looking at movie dresses for inspiration. I uploaded several of my favorites, but feel free to be inspired by any movie dress or costume. Make sure you link us up to a picture of your inspiration.

And as always … have fun!

Use the keyword: IC130 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card.

How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!

Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.

Fun challenge, Stef! I chose Cruella-de-ville's black and white gown which was found with a yellow background. Sharon's blog challenge (notimetostamp) was to use black and white and one other color, so this was perfect. I paper pieced the dress and handbag which qualified the card for RBC11 found on Jeanne S's blog, Inky Paws. Hope you like

Here's mine. Evergreen and Pond I was inspired by the white and moss green in Winonna Ryder's dress in Age of Innocence as well as the green scenery around her in some of the photos.
