Inspiration Challenge 126 ~ National Scrapbooking Day
In honor of National Scrapbooking Day, this week's Inspiration Challenge is to make a card inspired by a favorite scrapbooking page. Make sure you include a link to a picture of the page that inspired you with your post. Find inspiration in the colors, theme, layout … whatever makes you want to create.
My card was inspired by this fun Happy Birthday to My Hubby page by Natalie (dougnat). I loved the layout, colors, stitching and overall theme & feel of her page.
Make sure you use the keyword: IC126 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card.
How to Play ~ View the attached image or find your own scrapbook page inspiration. You may be inspired to recreate the piece ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.

O.K. Stef I Actually pulled out one of my own scrapbook pages that I had submitted for last years artisan Award for my inspiration. My picture was lousy though, I wasn't at SCS yet. So here is my card...hope you like it!
Okay...fell ASLEEP while looking for a scrapbook...I'm PITIFUL!!! LOL!
I woke up, found it on my STAMPING TABLE and got to work...22 minutes start to finish...(If you don't count the 3 hour NAP! LOL!
Brilliant!! Got way too sidetracked looking at everyone's scrapbook pages!! Ended up at StarofMay's gallery (one of my favs!) and chose this layout: Kate.
I just finished my first scrapbook - for my Lettie that we had to put down last week - wish I'd thought to check out scrapbook pages before I did mine! But, I'll give it a go. Good thinkin' Stef!
I actually chose one of my own scrapbook pages from Lettie's album - only because my brain is fried from doing her book and trying to catch up on challenges - so I opted out for easy. Hope you like it.
Wonderful idea - I love making cards from my leftover scrapped pages - now to see if I can get inspired - I'll be back!
