IC02 - Teen Decor (Inspiration Challenge)

Welcome to the Inspiration Challenge -- IC02!

The idea is that I will select something -- a piece of art, a photo, a magazine ad, a piece of furniture, anything really -- and we see what inspiration it creates. You can get your inspiration from the colors, the layout, the theme, or it just makes you think of a card you need to do

Please feel free to use the inspiration to make anything -- a card, scrapbook page, or other project.

Also, mark you upload with IC02. And, if you would, tell us briefly in your upload or your post here how you were inspired.

Attached is the image to use -- it is a picture I took at Target of what I call "dorm decor": a shower curtain, lamp, and bed sheets. The colors I used were: Night of Navy, Bashful Blue, Perfect Plum Pale Plum, Green Galore.

I got a card done. There's really great colors and shapes in the inspiration photo so that's what I played off of.

Oh man, this is awesome! One of the TLC's was Everyday Inspirations....you made something based on something in your house...a shirt, the bedspread, your rug, a vase, whatever! It was a lot of fun.

I *LOVE* your idea of posting the inspiration piece and seeing what is created!

I will definitely be following along with these! I have a ton of un-fun errands to run today, but will be making something soon!

BTW, I found this through the link in your siggy line...so "advertising" really does work! {now, if I could just get folks interested in the 3D challenge! LOL }

Beth, your challenge was the first thing I thought of when I seen this one and of course I can't pass up a challenge if I have time for it.

One big hooray�the link to this thread through my photo description now works again. Yeah, Daven and his team! A lesson learned is all good thing come with patience. Is that why I checked for the Techniques challenge every couple hours on Monday! I'm retired and yes I have lots of time on my hands and earned every minute of it!
