This was for the Inspiration Challenge which caught my eye because I'm like 20 minutes away from the Outer Banks.

My inspiration: Green Palm Wall Decor, S/3: Elegant Beach Home Furnishings, Coastal Artist Gallery, Nautical, Beach & Tropical Decor

Red face IC278

Timing was perfect for this challenge as I struggle with male themed cards....???: This was a perfect inspiration from Outer Banks - link artist gallery to Ellen McCaleb, (trout or salmon??). Unsure if I did the link correct otherwise see midnightsmum gallery, happy birthday grandson. Marvelous inspirations on this challenge, thanks for sharing.....

Luuuurved this site so much that I simply HAD to do another card! This is a first for me! I usually am so slow that I am about 3 weeks behind each challenge to produce just one measly card!

I stumbled upon this challenge today....how nice!! I was drawn to the idea of getting your inspiration from whatever caught your eye in the Outer Banks Trading Group site. But when I sat down to work on it, I was stumped as I didn't have a set of 'rules' to follow, or colors I had to use or a layout to copy. It was all up to me......talk about pressure ladies!! What I found when I was looking through the site was that there were a number of images that were catching my eye and I couldn't decide on just one of them. So I pulled out my favorites and came up with this card. I hope you enjoy it!

Default IC278 At the water's edge

I love the idea of a theme, and the beach is one of my favorite places to be. I filled my scene of sky, sand, and ocean with lots of flowers, fishes, and a very smiley sun!
