Chris, it always takes me a long time to pick out what I want when I'm shopping. Even in the stores, I pick things up then put 'em down, and pick 'em up again! It was fun shopping at Stamping Bella for sure and I like all the stamps that I got. For my first card, I chose the easiest image to color.
I think there should be an ugliest card challenge, because the thing I'm working on now would win hands down! I'm trying the technique Karen Barber used here:
Maybe one of the most gorgeous cards EVER! But I didn't choose my stamps wisely, and have limited markers. It's hideous!!!
that's an interesting idea for a challenge let me know if you get it going. That card is gorgeous but I can see that it could very easily all go wrong and in a big way.
Well, I'll never be Karen and these aren't cards yet, but they are presentable The one with three flowers was done with alcohol markers and various underlayers of white craft. The other was done with water-based markers and a fairly heavy layer of white craft underneath
they both look really good to me.
we are our own worst critics.
I'm glad to see people are still posting cards made with HYCCT prizes. My apologies for this brash, garish card, but I sure had fun playing with my Stamping Bella Flower Medley Die-namic. So many options from one little die.

Anyone else out there tonight? Hope to see more prize winnings creations. I got my stamps from Stamping Bella. I didn't realize that most of them were unmounted stamps though so I now have to find some cling mount foam. Any ideas from anyone as to wher I can buy that? I am so anxious to get my Xyron stuff cause I have a project lined up to use it on. But I will have to work on other stuff for now.
I am going to be in San Antonio for the 7 & 8th of February with a friend who is coming down to get out of the snow. Does anyone have any classed etc going on those days that we could join in on? Someone PM me if you know of anything.

Hi Pat. I've been using my Stamping Bella stamps without mounting them. I just use removable tape or glue to temporarily stick them to an acrylic block. I do want to look for some Easy Mount or the like, but am not in a rush to spend more $$.

Have fun with your friend in San Antonio!
I have about 6 sheets of easy mount left over from last yr I'm not going to use. I went to bare rubber and Ailene's tack it over and over. I will gladly send them your way if you want.

After Val and Rita put me onto double sided tape I used one of my Stamping Bella stamps and played around with coloring the image with my markers. I have to say I was fairly pleased with the results. Here is my Bella Birthday
Also this last week I got my prize from Xyron! Wow I was pleased with all my goodies! I will be using some of them this week.

I used 3 of my winnings for the mini VSN this week. I had not heard of Gourmet Rubber Stamps before I won the prize and now that I have used their stamps, I will be back. Fun sentiments and crisp lines! The sentiment on the 2nd card is from Technique Tuesday (a prize I won from Paper Craft Mag.) The splotches on the 2nd card is the stamp from Gourmet Rubber Stamps and I have lots of plans for that one!!!
