I got my Stamping Bella prizes today. With the prizes and the few extra bargain stamps that I bought, (some for only $1.29!) I got quite a haul! Can't wait to play with them. I'll take a photo of the haul and post when I get something made.

Okay, I'm not sure I'll ever get a project made with my new stamps, but here's a pic of my practice sheet - I guess I need a brick wall stamp next, to actually hang the planter on.
your coloring is beautiful, get that wall quick cause this is going to make a gorgeous card.
or you hang it from something else... maybe a tree limb, or make a window cut - you could have a lot of fun (or work depending on your point of view) making a window. will it be from the outside looking in or the opposite?
How about an embossed brick background, a die cut window and this gorgeous planter? And I'll gladly send you my address so you can send it to me.....teeheee...

I made a shaped card using the Pazzles. I LOVE the way this came out. I changed up the pattern - it had a snowflake on it and it was a short cup with marshmallows and steam on it. Thanks to everyone for all the comments, compliments, and ideas about my planter. I do have a brick wall ef as well as a wood grain. The wheels are turning, but Chris nailed it when she said the word work! My brain is too fried to figure it all out, but y'all have definitely encouraged me to get it done sooner rather than later! I took a photo of all ten of the stamps & sets that I received from Stamping Bella. I ordered a few over the amount of the prize as there were several cute images on sale and I just couldn't resist the bargain. I can't wait to start using them! (But I'm going to have to wait at least a few days )

Thanks sweetie. Don't you just hate when you have to work at work. When I was still working I browsed the internet when I needed a break and sometimes I browsed because my boss wanted some information.

Chris, it always takes me a long time to pick out what I want when I'm shopping. Even in the stores, I pick things up then put 'em down, and pick 'em up again! It was fun shopping at Stamping Bella for sure and I like all the stamps that I got. For my first card, I chose the easiest image to color.

The photo turned out kind of dull - sort of like the sky outside today. It's snowing again. Twice in one season in Texas is amazing! It's also 30 F.
Great card Val. I'm with you when it comes to shopping for stamping stuff, you should of seen me in Archivers this weekend, I spent 2.5 hrs in there after my Copics class. I kept putting stuff in my basket but then put stuff back, I didn't want to walk out there spending more than my budget.

Photo looks good on my screen! Love the card, left some love. Y'all got snow??? It was colder than blue blazes here yesterday but no snow. The sun finally came out late in the afternoon - maybe it will catch up to you today!
Thanks Jody. Yes, we got ice or sleet or something early morning followed by just a little snow - just enough to foul up traffic. Most melted within an hour or two. Today started out cold but the sun came out and it got up to at least 50 F. Pretty nice. Thanks for sending it my way.

Connie, yes my flowers are on my card and it is time-consuming. Figuring out the right coverage of white ink and trying to get it even while keeping it off the embossing - whew! I have started another with a stamp better suited, I think, and will go today to see if I can find some better coordinated colors of markers. If it turns out even marginally better I will attach a pic when finished.

If it turns out even marginally better I will attach a pic when finished.

Both are beautiful Jody! I think I like the more open flowers the best. They look so diaphanous!

Hope I get to work on my card using my actual prize stamps tomorrow - a false start or two... And I promised myself I'd do something with all those PARTS of cards before I started something else. Really, it's getting out of control! But I'm getting there...
Can you tell that the thought of those fancy stamps is a little intimidating? I have to keep repeating to myself "It's only paper, it's only paper..."
