I heard from Your Next Stamp yesterday, so hopefully my package will be in the mail soon... packages have been taking about a month to get here, which is pretty good!
Dini, on my iPod I have a Broadway Fav File which I listen to a lot. Now whenever I'm listening to it, I can't stop picturing cards for the lyrics and seeing your thumbnail. I guess that's a new twist on earworms.
Oh gosh, what a nutty week I've had! I kept meaning to let y'all know that I heard from the companies that I won prizes from, and I ordered from them the next day. Yeah, I was impatient and wanted new toys NOW! LOL
I got a shipping notice that my stamps from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps are on their way, and I ordered a 48 slot Distress Ink pad holder from Stamp-n-Storage. I also got a free digi from Mo's Digital Pencil (she provided the freebie for us to use for the Kid's Card challenge) - but I ended up ordering a couple more cuz her digis are SO cute! I have the digis on my computer, but haven't had time to print them out and play.
That work thing, Mon - Fri, really does get in the way of our stamping time, doesn't it?? Then we had a huge birthday bash for my grampa - his 90th - to plan for and attend. Then I thought I was going to have a nice easy week at work, but no. A co-worker fell and cut his nose, got stitches, went home, and now I'm doing two jobs until he gets back. Oy! Thank goodness this Friday is our last day of work and then we go on Christmas Break until January. (And yes, I call it CHRISTMAS break, not no stinkin holiday or winter break, hmph.) I'm gonna PLAY during my time off!!!!!!!!
Thank you VERY much to all of these companies who donated such fabulous prizes!!!!
wow...Holly, you should have told us about your Grandpa's 90th....that is awesome..I would have had a piece of cake in his honor...and I'd have put ice cream on it too....
hope you get time to play while you're off...I'm off for 4 days and plan on playing

WOW! 90th that's pretty good. I would like a piece of cake too, maybe Sheri & I could share it.
I have opened the package to find new stamps from taylored expressions
but, its dark here already so, It will probably be after dinner before I tried to see if I could wrangle enough light to shoot them upstairs. and it would be way easier to wait till tomorrow ( its 35 here at the moment and I don't want to go out side again... but, on the other hand my markers live in the house so if I did go up there to shoot them I could also get them inky and bring images inside.)
decisions decisions.

If it's cold you get a pass. It's 65 here today and I don't like it.
its even colder today and it snowed all day... and then I came home and have been inside VSN and the other thread I chat in and then made the mistake of turning on the TV so, I was hoping there was some mindless happy projects being made. and I will shoot mine tomorrow.

Anyone making anything yet with their new goodies?
I've been using new goodies but not the ones I won. I opened the book that came with the pazzle and it strongly recommended reading it before trying to use the machine. I've made it thru about 4 pages with lots to go.
Right now I have to get to the Post Office and get the cards I've written out and then finish the baking so that can get sent and how about taking down the fall decorations and putting up the Christmas ones. all that stuff puts a serious crimp in my card making time.
OH, I did teach my poochie a new trick with the help of the cat. They are both jumping thru a hoop. the dog was scared of it but the cat was curious and just started walking thru it, when the dog saw that I gave the cat a treat for doing it he started going thru. He's such a foodie.

Would love to have seen a video of that!
