Hi ladies - just a reminder - please read this post carefully: Prize Drawing Thread!

PLEASE do not contact sponsors. Please. Pretty please. I will give all the sponsors your info at the conclusion of the drawings. You can imagine how many messages and how much confusion individual messages generate. Please help me make this a pleasant experience for everyone who has so generously donated product to this cause.

Please re-read: Prize Drawing Thread!

I think she is referring to personally emailing the company to get information about the prize. The links were put there to go thank them!

I have had a very productive weekend! I have a craft sale this coming weekend and have all of my Christmas classes prepped too. I will hopefully have pictures ready to post later today. I need to finish packing up the craft sale stuff first. Stay tuned!

Oh yes - no that is great!!!

I'm talking about prize winners contacting companies and saying they won a prize and how to redeem them etc. This just creates a logistical nightmare. I will take care of all of that

Hmm, doesn't sound gross. I have never heard of them before. There is a whole list of things I categorize as "Foreign Yankee food" things I never had growing up. I love carnival and butternut squash, but never had it until I moved to CT. I may have to add another category: "Foreign Southern food"

HAHAH! My uncle (Maryland) made OYSTER STUFFING one Thanksgiving, and this little Texas girl still has PTSD from that "Foreign Yankee Food" encounter! LOL.

I see y'all have been busy picking numbers for me! I better get to drawing!

EWWWW! My mom made oyster stew a couple of years for New Year's Eve when I was a little girl. I still remember that little oyster slithering down my throat... and it seems to me it slithered right back up, too....

Foreign Southern food ??? There should be hint in the Scotch , although anecdotally they originated in London and not Scotland.
And cornflakes are definitely not in the original - fine breadcrumbs, that should be!!!

I didn't know that's what you did for a living!

I'm not a seafood fan either - I'm a real prairie girl. Give me a cow and a potato

I've been wanting to make an oyster stuffing, but I fear that my husband and I would be the only ones eating it. It sounds delicious to me!

I haven't tried scotch eggs, but my dh did a year ago and really liked them.

Hope everyone is having a great Monday. I'm putting off doing some cleaning right now. Better get to it!
