Challenge Title: Music Soothes the Soul
Hostess: Tenia (Tenia Sanders-Nelson) Keyword: HYCCT1207 Date: Sunday, October 7, 2012 Hello and welcome to the third annual Hope You Can Cling To Challenge!! I am so excited to be participating in such a wonderful cause and I am glad that y'all are joining today as well!! Being a professional jazz pianist I know that music helps me on so many levels. Music makes me happy and feel awesome when I am having a not so great day. Music simply just soothes my Soul. So your challenge today is to create a card using pink and using any music related stamps or paper. Have fun and I can't wait to see what y'all created!! Hope all is well..... All Hope You Can Cling To Challenge Entries must be uploaded to the Hope You Can Cling To Gallery, with the specific challenge keyword, no later than November 7th, 2012 at 12:00 Noon Central Time to be eligible for our fabulous prizes! Tenia- a most wonderful challenge today! I had fun making this card- my DD is a viola player in several orchestras, and it is such a pleasure to hear them play :) I used DCWV's Music paper pack, along with a yellow dp panel embossed with Cuttlebug's Script Texture. Added geometric black and gold ribbon, and a bronze bow. Here's Golden Music

Had to do another card- with lots of pink! Used Cuttlebug's Number Collage EF for my background, and my Nestie's square fleur de lis die for my center panel. Pluto seems to be enjoying the music! Here's music speaks

It took forever to get this photo uploaded today. Splitcoast said they were unable to load my "format" which was the same as every other card I ever uploaded. I kept trying, and finally got some cards uploaded.
The main thing however is that I enjoyed making a card with music elements. Dance to the Music |

Good grief, I forgot to post this on time! Guess I was just glad to get it finished and uploaded. Tenia, I loved this challenge. I don't play much anymore (piano), but back in the day it did wonders for lifting me up when I was down, or keeping me up when I was up. I played CONSTANTLY. So I was excited to get to do a music-related challenge - thank you!!

Thanks so much for this challenge. I have had this embossing folder for awhile and this challenge was perfect for it. This is the first time I tried this technique and was really happy with the way it turned out.
