HYCCT1230 Cork, Canvas or Clay Chatter Thread

Whew! I had a moment of panic, then remembered these little cork tags I bought ages ago. Fortunately my supplies are pretty organized so I didn't have to search too long before I found them. I'm all caught up with my cards after a weekend out of town, yay. Now I just have to upload them.

This was a really fun challenge.

It gave me an opportunity to play with the canvas ribbon that's been in my stash a while.

Plus use my CTMH Burlap ribbon and the cork paper I got at Micheal's a couple of weeks ago.

Here's my card, which as you can see lacks any cork, clay or canvas simply because I don't have any of either, so I cheated and used my canvas impression plate instead. You can't really see it in the photo but it is there, honest!

I didn't have any cork, canvas or clay....so went digging and found a big enough scrap of this burlap type ribbon....

Finally, here is my card using clay. This is my first attempt at using this medium and I'm not really sure how it is supposed to look. I'm not sure if I like this butterfly. It looks like a glob of something to me. I think I need to practice some more for sure. So here it is...........as it is:
