I can try to remember it, Sheri, but really all it was was a really good thick chicken stock, and then some very finely chopped onions softened in butter, thickened with flour and then half and half stock and milk added, plus a little finely chopped cooked chicken, thyme, and salt and pepper to taste. Remember, it was for someone getting over chemo and not able to eat; it wasn't much of a substantial soup at all, just light and nourishing!! These days I'm making more Thai/Vietnamese-style chicken soups .

I love that set, Lee-Anne. I have the big RubberNecker rooster but Provencal is one I always think I'd like to get some day . And your sponging is gorgeous!!

that sounds simple enough....I like light soups for evening meal...I don't get home until around 8 pm or later from work and I don't like to eat a big meal and go right to bed....so this would be perfect...not as filling as chicken noodle...

When I get to the laptop I'll PM you a link to the Thai one I am currently making. Without the optional noodles it's light, and it's SO much easier than the Malaysian one I tried. I still haven't written it up for my blog , I am so behind. I need to start using Chrome more consistently so that I can access my bookmarks from either computer!
I found this one really hard, both because I don't do chickens and I just couldn't find anything for the U part of SOUP that would go with the chicken patterned paper, so cheated a little and went with some unknown brand buttons!
Finding the stuff for SOUP was *hard*!! I kinda cheated and went with "unused stamps", which is true - this was the first time these chickens and chicken wire background were inked up!!

Sorry I was offline yesterday, ladies, but I took a quick gander round the soup kitchen this morning and found more fabulous cards. Apologies, sort of, to those who found this one tough, but I guess we all have some that we found tougher than others! And what's a challenge for if it's not to stretch our imaginations and creativity. You've all come up trumps.
I'm so glad you don't just say tough but fun as well! There've been a a couple of toughies for me - starting with the fact that pink doesn't normally feature in my cards, LOL.
