thank goodness this marks another week of treatment COMPLETE! whew..... only another month to go if all goes well..... hooray!
you can bet your sweet bippy I'm counting down the days. this every day stuff gets old real quick.

happy Thursday to everyone! I'm trying once again to post a reply..... last one disappeared on me. yikes! I don't know why I keep having so many troubles getting a message to post on here.
anyhow, thank you to everyone who has created a card for this challenge. I am going to try to leave a few more comments today. please forgive me for taking so long to get around to all of you. I promise that I WILL get to you.... REALLY!
my radiation treatments seem to be getting more and more difficult. the technicians told me that it's because the radiation has a cummulative effect in my body and just keeps building up. I said it's like adding black jelly beans to a big bowl, and I really don't like the black ones. they laughed at me over that one, especially since my skin is turning a horrid shade of black from the burns. it runs from under my elbow to about half way across my chest. my poor hubby about passed out when he saw it yesterday. he didn't realize it had gotten so bad.
hopefully about 3 or 4 more weeks to go and then this portion is done. I'm truly turning into a zombie, so if you hear on the news that the appocalypse has begun - don't worry, it's just me!!!
so no excuses as to why I haven't been around, just an explanation.....

Jennifer - You are being so brave during your treatments. I can understand your hubby's reaction. Hang in there and keep looking to it being done with. My prayers are with you for complete healing and for strength to endure. ::HUGS::

Happy Friday to everyone! hope you have some fun things planned for the weekend! our oldest son is coming home from school today and we have a friend from church here to do some construction work with my hubby and boys. they (the people at church) have been very kind and are helping us get some things done before the snows set in.
if you live anywhere along the east coast of the US, bundle up and get ready for the storm to hit. load up on the cocoa and soup..... stay warm! it's already dropped in temps about 20* here since this morning.

so are y'all having a good weekend? we have trick or treating here tonight. it was postponed from Wed. because of weather, although it is still cold and rainy. a few snow flurries, too, but that is nothing unusual around here.
