that is so sweet of you to have a couple freebies. I don't make a lot of cards specifically for kids but most of my cards are kid friendly because I love cutesie images. This card was made for this challenge but I think it would suit a child or an adult.
I'm assuming it's okay to make a birthday card? It has a b'day greeting inside.

Made some more cards . I was a teenager when my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. I basically internalized everything, never talked about it with my friends really. I remember being scared to see her in the hospital after her mastectomy because I knew she would look different but I think I was afraid she would "be" different. That was not the case, she was still the mom I knew. It was hard being young listening to everything my parents and family told me and not having much to do with all the terrible information. It can make you feel very isolated. All our cards will be a great way for someone to let a kid know they are not alone even if their parents (or whomever) are busy with the difficult situation.
Im not a big fan of bright colors but maybe kids are.
Here's mine, Fly
I have made it with a little girl in mind or may be a big girl, butterflies are the key.
Lovely challenge had great fun working this one out
Cheers

Okay I finally got one done... Its not a little kid card its more tween-ish I think, and it may not show up right away because I edited it to stick it in the right gallery after...
For my gardening girl, I used SU's Friendships Grow, for my image. Added a scallop stitch border threaded with ribbon. Finished with a yellow horizontal polka dot border. Here's Gardening Girl
