I am sort of new here and still learning my way around. I've had so many of my beloved family die from Cancer. My mom, my grandmother, my aunt, and most recently, my husband. I wish to do this challenge and look forward to making cards for this cause.
Remember, there are some prizes that will be drawn by our partner in Houston throughout the month, so don't forget to mail them
I didn't realize that. I sent a box off the other day and will send the rest of my cards out at the end of the month. I added a few from my stash to fill up the box.

Awesome job completing them all! I wasn't able to do all the challenges (darn work gets in the way), but I sent off a box this week with the ones I did get done and a bunch from my stash. (over 25 cards in all). It is so inspiring to see all the effort people are putting into such a great cause. Great job everyone!

That's why I didn't look! I know the prizes are good and that I would want to win any of them, but looking before I get my cards done would just add too much pressure! I'll look later and maybe find some sponsors that I don't know about but might want to shop at. No time for shopping until the cards are made.

I hope these vendors know how much we appreciate their generosity for this wonderful cause! And I also hope they know that doing this is a great introduction to their company.
I am new to card making and, until this challenge, never heard of many of these companies. I'm slowly making my way through the links, seeing what each company has to offer as I make a mental wish list of stuff I'd love to buy when my financial situation changes.
So far, My Favorite Things, Our Daily Bread, Sweet N Sassy and Heartfelt Creations are at the top of my list!
Since my prize is from an online store, how do I redeem it? I haven't gotten any instructions back yet.
I just looked back through the prize list - I think my Christmas wish list will be based entirely on the above sponsors. They were so generous with this activity and I love several of them already. I think it will be a nice way for me to give back to them - shop for the holidays exclusively from their sites!
I haven't heard yet either, but things probably slowed down over the holiday weekend. You don't need to do anything until they contact you.
I totally agree with you about paying them back for their generosity by shopping at their sites. I have seen lots of things I want from several of the vendors. If I'm not careful, my 2012 craft budget will be shot before 2011 is over! LOL!

Thanks for correcting me. I was assuming that everyone had already given Lydia their contact info. I think there was (is?) a deadline to do that. I did it immediately when I won so I wouldn't forget. AFTER giving that to Lydia, there's nothing to do until the vendors contact the winners.
