I actually did a little stamping today. I don't have any feeling in my left hand so I have to keep it really simple. And I stupidly decided to try my new alcohol markers - which I have no idea how to use LOL! But I'll post the card tomorrow or the next day... I think I kinda overdid it today but it felt so good to be doing something normal.
Has anyone heard how Meredith - Craft Math Chick is?

Awww. Sorry you're having a hard time with my challenge.
But your pun is great! Maybe you can work that onto a card and add some stitching to it? There's nothing in the challenge requirements that says you have to use pink, or make it feminine. Just some food for thought, OK?

I'm going to mail my first box of cards this weekend. I have two challenges I haven't completed but am keeping up pretty good so far! Of course my desk is now a disaster so I may have to take a cleaning break so I can find stuff again. My piles are turning into avalanches!
oh my...so many wonderful cards in the gallery....work has kicked my big booty this week but now off for couple days to get caught up....sounds like y'all are keepin on even with all the health and family issues.....It helps to have something like HYCCT to look forward to I think.

LOL! I added on to my daughter's name while I was in labor ... DH didn't dare say no! My husband is Irish and I'm Italian. My kids have VERY traditional Irish names. ... Except for my dd's middle name- Lucia! I had to get it in there!

Good day ladies....getting ready to mail my box of cards tomorrow after I make today's challenge...I wish I didn't have to work, I'd much rather be home creating.

scanned. Life is incredibly busy right now and I'm on pain meds and antibiotics so feeling very fuzzy. I know some people are recovering from surgeries and stuff so I'll just throw out a huge ol blanket hug to everyone. I can't match names to avatars right now to figure out who needs what.
I'm going to try to get myself organized to upload some cards right now before I have to go to the school.

Yeah, my tooth actually doesn't hurt bit the ache from the infection is uncomfortable. I wish I had broken the tooth or something so I at least knew it was going on and could have dealt with it and had the root canal earlier. The antibiotics make me queasy and starving! lol the vicodin at night makes me sleep like someone flipped off a switch for about two hours then I wake up and doze for about two hours in the middle of the night. Not very restful.
Nothing that troubling or traumatic just not my usual self and usually I can match up names to avatars and keep track easily but not right now.

No worries --- I'm on Percocet LOL!!! And muscle relaxers -- I'm a limp noodle!!
Thank goodness for these boards. I'm alone during the day and I get a little lonely -- can't drive or resume activities for 3 weeks -- I'm like a big ole creeper on these threads!

Oh my goodness I was given percocet after I had Natalie. Lost whole sections of the day. Refused it after Zach so I took Vicodin, which still has me pretty loopy. I did take percocet after my csection with Jacob tho, again, lost whole sections of days in the hospital. After I really hurt my back I was on relaxers AND Vicodin...thank goodness my husband is so great. I'd take my medicine and simply leave my body lol.
HAHAHAHA.... let's talk DRUGS!!!!! I LOVED my Morphine Pump... Darn doctor wouldn't give me a refill when it ran out...I BEGGED...even just a HALF of a refill... NOPE NADA! I had Vicodin AND Percocet for my pain and lemme tell ya what.... I was a BIG BIG BIG BIG "meanie" I couldn't stand myself!!!!! lol
SO, I just ate Ibuprofen and Tylenol with coffee and dealt with it... **sigh** Oh how I LOVED my morphine!!!!!!
ANYWAY.... I got today's card done... had training then a baby shower at work for a co worker having her first baby, a girl... OH BOY! I'm a thinkin' Daddy's in TROUBLE!!!! Momma is a Princess anyway, now TWO of them??? hahahahahahahahah!!!!! But what a bundle of blessing she will be!!!!!

well, it's a cold, wet and very dreary day here so off to the craft hole for me....gonna finish up the ones I've got started...and on to todays fun challenge
Funny - I'm not a druggie person. When I had my gallbladder out, the morphine just zonked me right out. Didn't do a darn thing for the pain, just knocked me out right away. Hubby said something to the nurses and told them to dial back on the morphine. So next time they gave me half, and I zonked right out. No tolerance for it at all! LOL
After a different surgery, they gave me a rx for vicodin, and I never took a single one. Just loaded up on motrin and slept a lot. That's it.
I'm also so far behind but I'm hoping I can maybe get caught up this weekend. I'm having a rough time with a couple of the challenges. Having a creative block. I'm going to skip those and keep going and come back to them. I will hopefully have some to upload today or tomorrow. Sending hugs to those that aren't feeling well.

and those that are in pain understand KIND OF the "need" for them.... of course I see the other spectrum... once it's become habit vs need....
Hey Sheri... what is it that they gave me after my hysterectomy... GOOD stuff, but apparently you can only have 3 shots of it or it becomes "toxic" in your body???? You get it in the butt and you alternate sides. It was a great aide in sleeping...
I burn through medications fast so I typically just ignore the RX's I get, but when I had NO KNEE left, that was a bit above my pain tolerance...
Stop in and give it a try!
