Good morning had a fun family filled day yesterday and being a little lazy this morning so far. Vicki I'm glad to hear things are looking up. Busy week here, I need to catch up on challenges, decorate the house, set up for sas, travel to Galt to seet mom an hit a farm and pumpkin path, school, conference for one kid, work, we're going to see WWE Tuesday. Gosh it looks worse all typed out.
Anyway I have cards I need to upload and cards I Ned to make and notebooks I need to cover and lists I need to work on. But not today. I have a full shift at work today so I'll be out of the house in about three hours.
I'd rather have hot and rainy than cold, windy and drizzly....ICK!!! I mean, if it's gonna rain then do it and bring us some much needed moisture...this drizzly crud is useless except for making my hair kinky.... so now that errands are done, I'm headed to the craft zone....cuz tomorrow I head back to work and can play only after 2100....
It's a combo of freezing and windy here - so weird for us at this time of year. But the acorn crop and my kitties' early winter coats predicted it so guess I'll have to buy some pants - LOL.
31* when i got off, got up and dressed in jeans uggs woolie socks sweatshirt and turtleneck..... Prediction for today 73* good thing i live tge heat lol
I'm celebrating because it's only supposed to hit the 70s here today! That is practically winter weather after our 107 last week! I was gone most of the day yesterday at my book club so today I'm catching up on HYCCT challenges and maybe squeezing in a couple cards for World Cardmaking Day. I need to fit some weekend chores in, too, but otherwise, will have a low-key Sunday, which are my favorite kind!
Okay here goes a (have not had enought caffeine loaded today question)
the gallery keeps jumping, If I go to the HYCCT gallery and start leaving comments when I hit the back button the cards keep re-sorting them selves. ( so I feel like I am "missing" seeing a whole bunch of them)
is this happening to everyone? or are you just going to each challenges gallery one gallery at a time?

I'm getting a little late start on the challenge this month, been a busy week. But I am finally getting ready to go to my craft room and work on some cards.
Had a lot of fun last year doing this challenge and what a great cause, can't wait to get started!
Busy weekend so I'm behind again! It has gotten CHILLY here and we are expecting a hard frost tonight so I had to gather the last garden goodies. Think I'm going to sneak down and try to finish my card from Saturday and might sneak in today's card too! If anyone has recipes for green tomatoes I could use some as you can see from my picture of what I harvested today!
Gail - your produce looks terrific. I don't like gardening, but I sure wish I had a gardener so I could have fresh produce like that. Yummy!
Stacy, I haven't had a problem with the gallery, but I think I usually just go to the gallery for a single challenge at a time.
The problems I've been having tonight are that Splitcoast seems to be v-e-r-y S-L-O-O-W-W. I've been trying to upload a few cards for several hours and each step is taking an incredibly long time. The two times I managed to get through the description part, I got a message that my photo was in an unrecognizable format or something like that. I didn't do anything different than I usually do! Arrgh! I may have to wait until tomorrow morning to try again as I've spent too much time tonight getting nothing accomplished.
gail, if you have a cold storage place for the tomatoes you can ripen them a little at a time putting them into a brown paper sack with some apples from the grocery store ( look for the ones with white streaks on the skin ~ don't wash that off when you get home, its ripening agent...) so put the apples and green tomatoes in the sack together... (as you need tomatoes. or if you want to ripen a bunch to make salsa or something.

oh yummy...I love chow chow (or cha cha)...wonderful stuff...
Well, my joy has turned into frustration....looks like the previous owner messed up the machine. The lower roller isn't level so when I'm trying to run things through they aren't cutting or embossing in the middle Goodwill had told me I could return it for store credit if anything was wrong, but that doesn't fix my disappointment. I will try calling Sizzix on Monday but man I'm bummed.

Surgery is over -- and I'm already back home. And so thankful! My pain is very manageable, much better than before the surgery. My left hand is still numb so it makes typing and hold things very interesting. Hubby won't let me into the craft room yet as I tend to fall asleep every ten minutes. I can't drive or do too much for three weeks but I may be able to stamp (as long as only use supplies wthin arm length - talk about limited supply challenges LOL)

I can't watch the video. I mean I assume it will send me over the edge. Today is the anniversary of our daughter's death so I'm already feeling pretty raw.
Anyway trying to catch up while still working on things to come. That has proven practically impossible. Bought some tea yesterday and it's gross, have a toothache and possible abcess and generally feeling sorry for myself. Trying to get some perspective.
I can't watch the video. I mean I assume it will send me over the edge. Today is the anniversary of our daughter's death so I'm already feeling pretty raw.
Anyway trying to catch up while still working on things to come. That has proven practically impossible. Bought some tea yesterday and it's gross, have a toothache and possible abcess and generally feeling sorry for myself. Trying to get some perspective.
Victoria darlin'. -- why wouldn't you feel crappy today? Be kind to yourself on this crappy day. Feel it, live it and tomorrow you can move on. Find some good tea, get an appointment with the dentist (although I'd rather have emergency neurosiUrgery myself. Oh wait -I did.

I'm going to ( have to?) go with all my boys to a WWE event tomorrow. Does that count? lol I'm not sure tha'ts life affirming or relaxing, altho The Miz in those little shorts is a sight to behold. I just found this yesterday so I am getting a slow start. Thanks SCS for having a wonderful place to send our cards to help others. I am hoping to get started tomorrow. I have seen the cards in the gallery and everyone has done such a wonderful job. My mom has been battling cancer for about 10 years now. She was in remission but it has came back.
