Since I have the day off and I'm up to date with challenges I've turned my attention to more spring cleaning and I've pulled apart an old unserviceable dresser and getting it ready for a makeover so I can use it in the bathroom. All going well I also hope to be at a point where I can push the unused pool table into the corner of the room it occupies and make better use of that room too. We'll see. Right now the next job is washing another section of wall and ceiling. With 12' ceilings you can image the work out I get going up and down the ladder. Cuppa first tho

I'm anxious to claen out my house again, specifically my 8 year old's room. Mercy! The thought of it is even overwhelming!

My internet connection has been good, but I'm not getting a lot of connections with my mobile phone which is annoying people who are trying to call me.

Speaking of connections, I'm finding the starburst challenge difficult to complete. I've made 4 burst patterns but I just can't connect with any of them to make into a card. I've put it aside till I get the motivation I need to make it into a complete card.

Theresa, our net is driving me to strong tea today ,i was waiting for tech support & it reconnected ok ,5 mins later gone again ,when i was unligging modem & restarting it lost coneenection 3 times i get all the lights for a few seconds then all gone i hope it settles down & stays constant.so i got my 2 cards up as soon as they were finished
Did you check telstra service & see if there is an outage on the mobile network?
I just used a SU dsp & cut into it for the Burst as they were all cordinated ,if i ever do another 1 will make sure i use a light colour background only white ink would shiw up on the Island Indigo cs . Enjoy the rain filling up those tanks

Ha, you knew it was starting to rain here! The rain arrived two days late, or our tank ran dry two days early. I will only regret not living like hillbilly's for two days when I see water overflowing. Unfortunately our reserve tank is not connected yet and I'm trying to ignore all that water going to waste. That would save us from ever running dry again.

We've been advised to expect a wild storm so I've had to shelter the ute. Now I'm all wet.... and cold

Net was gone again ,so i decided to redo some challenges,i got 1 done & mucked 1 more 3 times,so i decided enough of this, checked & net back again, made a strong tea & got my ipad i use to hate seeing rain going to waste when we had tanks.
Thanks for the storm warning,it is looking awful over here at the moment.
Re mucking ups i found some great new colour combos so it wasnt a total loss.
Did you see over 1900 in the gallery ,that is a fabulous result.
Hope you stay dry & warm

LOL, I hadn't realised you were Queensland too, Jeenny.
Connectivity problems are a bummer. I need a new PC because most of my problems are hardware-related and not provider-related (I have other reasons, too, like needing more RAM and processor speed to make the most of now having Photoshop Elements), but at least that means that when the PC in my craftroom is driving me to distraction trying to stay connected, I can always come down and get on no problems on DH's laptop.

Hurrah - it's Friday. We have a quiet low-key weekend on the cards and I'm hoping nothing comes up to spoil that.
Happy Friday, everybody.

Sabrina, GREAT photo for this Friday morning!!!!

Hope everyone has a great day!!

I will be gone most of today. I only have the BLINGtastic challenge to do (plus today's) and I really tried to create it last night with chipboard to go with Ways To use it challenge but I was too tired, nothing worked, tried pulling from scraps I had on my table but it refused to be made. I love BLING...this should be a snap and I have the PRETTIEST chipboard to use....Maybe while I am driving kids to school something will pop in my head. I will have an 2 hours at home between driving kids and my next appointment so we shall see.

This afternoon my laptop fizzled out half way thru an online hospital admission process. I felt like ringing them up and saying, 'I didn't press the back arrow key, I swear!!'

Went out for dinner tonight down at the old country pub in the backwaters. The menu is pretty simply but everything is always fresh. Plenty of people were out tonight, and since it rained today everyone wanted to know what was everyone else's rain gauge. And my partner, one of the most accurate bush weather men around these parts, was justifiably ridiculed by his mates for not having the new water tank connected to catch the rainfall.

Time for bed now in these parts. Night, night.

Angie - if it's any comfort I sometimes find the challenges that should be most in my comfort zone to be the most challenging. Only sometimes, though.

All that rain in Queensland! I was just looking at pictures of the fires in NSW, sounds as if they could do with the rain heading their way.

Happy Friday y'all! Wow! I'm a week behind all of a sudden! Hopefully, I can get a few done today. I'm painting a map of the USA on the blacktop of our kids school tomorrow -- was supposed to do it last Saturday, but weather guessers said rain and it was brilliantly sunny! So we are gambling and going with it tomorrow! I need to get it done so the stencil gets out of my bathtub!

Hope everyone is doing well, feeling better, enjoying the puppies, staying dry & safe!

Took all morning to make a really elaborate card to finally knock out my pocket card that was also a CASE for the queen for the day and met the central theme for the dirty dozen gallery. The bonus was realizing it also hit the Free for All to use a tag so it ended up being a QUADRUPLE challenge card...certainly didn't make the mixability CAS challenge though! Maybe I can still squeeze that one in later today.

I'm sitting here at my desk wishing I was home making cards in the cold weather, it just snowed last night.

How do you load your cards to the Hope You Can Cling to master gallery. I have loaded to each individual challenge but do not see all of my cards in the main gallery??

Here's a screenshot that shows how to pick the correct gallery

The third one doesn't appear until you've chosen #1 and #2 (in yellow)

You bet - click on the photo, then click edit photo. If you want to change the gallery, click the dropdown and then start typing "events" to get to the right gallery - it will be under that main category.

Ugh, the worst part of late night grocery shopping is having to deal with all of the stuff once you get home. I'm working at the shop where I have my card rack tomorrow so I had to shop when I had the chance, but I SERIOUSLY have no motivation to unload the car much less put them all away.

You could be lazy like me...I get all the cold/frozen items bagged together, the perishables bagged together...and these are the only bags I bring into the house (and I put them away)...all other groceries and items get brought in by someone else...

At my house...if you want to eat you get to work...this is part of their work...and I've taught them each how to "rotate" stock when putting away items...

And...yes...as adult children living at home they still get to do this IF they want to eat! So far I have no malnourished people living at my house!

They did help bring it all in and put away some of the cold stuff that goes right into the 2nd frig, but I still have a bit more to do. If I weren't going to be away all day tomorrow I'd probably be tempted to just leave all where it is!

Write it down! I've sometimes forgotten great ideas overnight, LOL. Now I try to jot down a brief memo.

Not sure if I'll go a digital stamp or svg cutting file for the boot challenge. I got my new mouse today and it's a speedy little critter. My eyes can't keep up with it's tracking. Using the computer to assist with the card will help us get better acquainted I hope.

I have multiple ideas for Kittie's challenge, but off to work I go. Finally going to drop my package off in the mail and I'm up to about 100 cards in there I think. I kept finding more cards in my stash and I've tried to make multiples of the simpler designs that I've made.

Your card stash must look pretty awesome all boxed up and ready to go.

I've put in a big night here for the boots challenge. The digital cutter turned out to be a no-go zone since I can't get it powered up. So I turned my attention to finding a digital stamp to fit the bill, but my skills at google searching for what I needed were somewhat lacking. Then I remembered that most old fashioned of method of crafting - hand cutting out from a template.

Anyways thankfully the card is nearly complete, but I MUST go to bed. It's midnight here which is way, WAY too late for me.
