My stamp table should be clean in 5-minutes...set a timer and get started!

5 minutes! Either you already have a tidy desk (by my standards!) or you're a super-speedy tidier. I'm envious of all your apples!!

If I remember correctly, the way to Lydia's heart is with a London Fog (Earl Grey Vanilla Latte)!
I wish I could make it all better in 5 minutes....the dull roar normal is still quite messy.
I'm with Sabrina-the only thing down in the basement is my stamp area, a 2nd TV that is only hooked up to a VCR-an area affectionately known as "The Movie Pit" and the oldest kids' bedrooms so I'm safe from visitors generally!
I didn't get this morning's done yet and I'm still one behind from the weekend so I guess I'd better get busy during swim practice this afternoon.
Had one of those yucky mornings with the kids and lost my cool more than once. Feeling pretty down on myself at the moment. Picking up and starting over.

Sometimes I'm OCD...other times I'm CDO...so even on the worst days it doesn't take more than 15-minutes to put everything where it belongs...

Also helps that I can reach out an arm and put most items away...

The apples...it is my favorite fruit to process...won't do even close to the 13 bushels I did last year but I'm happy to be starting on bushel #4 for the season!

The company came last night. I had the house put together and the craft room ready, since Norma wants to play with my ocean stamps. She's over the moon right now... excited to get inky! I'll go get a candid shot... Back later.

OH NO!! I hate it when that happens! I have two table surfaces and a desk to potentially work at, however i somehow end up with about 6x8 in. of space to actually use. YIKES!! I'm tormenting myself.

Thankfully no...but I did put a basket on the table for the small or thin pieces of cardstock scraps and that is helping a lot!

Off on the last mom-taxi run of the evening. Didn't get any more stamping done but did hit the ding and dent grocery and pick up some bargains and got some supper made. Paula Deen's Fried Okra is so yummy and my cornbread was pretty awesome too.

Apple butter is a long process...and only 1/2 bushel of apples processed into 14 1/2 pints...is delicious and worth it on homemade wheat bread!

Tomorrow will be either more apple butter or applesauce...waiting to do the pie filling when I have help with peeling the apples!

I've uploaded my cards for today...caught up for the next 11 hours!

You know what I got from this? Don't clean your craft table. I pretty much only clean in there if I have zero mojo or things start trying to physically attack me. It happens.

Took the time to clean the room before starting tonight. Still didnt get at the challenges for three cards, I had some personal ones that needed doing. Maybe tomorrow. Glad we have time to get these done. I started on my bling and glitter, it needs drying before I can do any more with it.

I've just got a few finishing touches to do on two cards and I need to remake an earlier challenge which I have manage to foul up twice. It's a CAS card that is determined to be DAS - Dirty and Simple. The second attempt committed Kamakazi and threw itself under the roller wheels of my chair. Gggrrr!

I tried making Apple Butter once. I had a US friend who would lend me her Foxfire heritage books about old time/sustainable living (in the Smokies ??) and I was fascinated by this thing called Apple Butter. I gave it a go and my friend told me I did a good job of it for first attempt considering I didn't really have any prior knowledge of the stuff. It still needed a lot of work though.

I'm trying to keep up with any other challenges I normally do. Easier done than any other year because I've just not had as much crafting time this year so I'm now down to only about three challenges a week - in a good week. When I can combine the daily SCS challenge with a HYCCT one, I do . I used last week's MixAbility challenge for tomorrow's HYCCT card, which I made yesterday. I need a time machine!

DAS, ha ha...I laughed at your description. Yep I've run over a project or two also, systems there is no rescuing that state of affairs.

Good for you on the apple butter. I tried it once two but for all the work involved i figured the little bit we would use I would just buy a jar if I felt the urge for it.

Good for you on the apple butter. I tried it once two but for all the work involved i figured the little bit we would use I would just buy a jar if I felt the urge for it.
Ha - it's DH who runs over my projects. He rolls the chair back further than I do, whenever he's sitting at my desk .

I'm off to the post office this morning to mail my first box to M.D. Anderson. In addition to the HYCCT cards I've made so far this month, I filled the box with cards from my stash -- for a total of 75 cards in the mail today. I'll send another box at the end of the month. Such a worthy cause!!!

That's on my list for today, too! I just need to put them with envelopes and in the clear bags. I think I'm going to work on that next!

I wouldn't get anything accomplished on the days that the mailman brought me boxes of gorgeous cards!

Well, phooey! I've been sick for almost a week, and this is the first day that I have felt like uploading cards. However, I can't upload anything. First, the gallery selection boxes don't come up; there is just blank space under the #1 description.

So, I figured I just upload to my gallery and move later. When I try to upload by "browse" nothing happens. When I tried to "drag & drop" nothing happens. I do have firefox. I don't even get a spinning circle.

I have tried clearing my cache/history, restarting my browser and restarting my computer. Nothing changed.

Does anyone have suggestions? I would like to get back into the HYCCT challenges before I get any farther behind.
