The garden was really slow to take off as we had cool weather early in the summer, but the bonus is that I just picked green beans yesterday and my flowers are still going strong! Of course the cooler weather plants are doing well too, but I love my fresh herbs so it has been wonderful. Well, gotta go make that supper!
The vase is from my great niece who lives in Durango, Colorado. I love it when she sends us local artisan things!

Beautiful flowers, Gail! Thanks for sharing them.
I was thinking of you over the weekend as we drove past Bunratty and near the Cliffs of Moher in the most beautiful warm sunshine you could imagine for an Irish June, never mind October!

When you go in to edit and rotate an image, it can take 15 minutes or so before you actually see any change. The gallery database is HUGE and it takes time for any edits to sync and show!
From what I understand it has something to do with taking photos with your phone instead of a camera. Thanks for the tip though, I will check to see if the pics have rotated. This site is the best. Maybe I will be a techno guru by the time this month is done. Thanks ladies for all the help!

A photo of my craft room yesterday morning, not even space to put my coffee cup.

Happy stamping

Ugh. I have the great privilege and luxury of a housecleaner who comes every other Tuesday. Tomorrow. Early. I always clean house before she comes to clean house... and that means tidying up the paper debris. Put my toys away. So. Whatever am I doing at the computer?!!!

If you find yourself making another card when you go to clean up the desk it becomes "procraftinating!"
I'm off to bed myself and the mess will have to wait another day!

I have an iphone. If I take pictures directly from my phone, holding it like I would for all normal functions with the big button on bottom, the pictures attach sideways. If I turn it horizontally with the button now on the right the pictures attach right side up. I'm not sure about a droid and I don't know about in the gallery. I haven't figured out how to upload to the gallery from my phone. HTH.

Procraftinating is my favorite word, although I usually use it to mean putting off crafts I need to make for gifts in favor of any other crafting. But I definitely procraftinate on housecleaning, too!

You wouldn't believe the amount of sage I have growing. I do square foot gardening and it has so overgrown its little square! I think I'm going to have to pull it and separate it into smaller plants and put some into my flower beds because it is making it hard to grow other herbs in that box!
I do love me some Sage Brown Butter Acorn Squash though!

My all time favorite never to disappoint me is stampin up! I have tried others and they do lose their sticky. I tend to buy in batches so they hang around for a while!

I just get the cheapies (well, relatively) at Michaels or Hobby Lobby and have never had a problem. Other than my kids thinking they are awesome stickers, that is.

Just curious. As if no one else has anything else to do! The nerve, huh? Well, it's bugging me. Why does my Firefox tab say "Stampin Up" Gallery when I'm viewing the HYCCT gallery? I thought I had been commenting in the wrong gallery for a minute there, but then realized if I was then you all were to!

I'd never noticed ! I'm sort of surprised I didn't because the old Limited Supplies instead of the Free 4 All gets me every Friday. But you're right. And it's the same if you bookmark the gallery. I guess sometimes we just see what we expect to see!

Woohoo, I'm finally up to date to today with the challenges - I've just uploaded Lori's leaf and Misti's colours card. It feels good to be up to date.

Funnily enough, I found a pack of Martha Stewart dimensionals that must have been a gift and they are awesomely sticky! I think I'll be making the switch to something from Michaels or the foam tape. Thanks ladies!

Feel better Jennifer!

Need to check on the challenge for today -- have been dealing with sub school nurse stress -- my daughter has Type 1 diabetes and we've had a sub since the start of school. We aren't seeing eye to eye. Hopefully I can find my desk -- mine is in a constant state of mess it seems -- to work on yesterday & today's challenges.

just thought I would add to the dimensional convo - I only use foam tape. I cut it to whatever size I need. I use the Scotch plaid foam tape in several thicknesses. I could never find an actual dimensional that would stay stuck for any given length of time. my foam tape never seems to come un-stuck, even after several years.
Sorry you're icky sicky... Feel better soon.

I'm with you with the 3M foam tape. Fairly inexpensive and easily available, can be cut to fit, and lasts. I've used su! and have a stash, but the foam tape's my go-to.

It's the page title of our gallery for search engines to find us. If you paste the link, you'll see the whole title. We are going to change them - they are too long

So. Syndi came this morning to clean house. Of course, I put away my toys and tidied up before she came. Here's some pics-- Syndi at work at my copics/computer work station. Work station after she's finished. My paper closet stamping station. Okay, I've yesterday's CAS challenge, hycct leaves challenge, today's color challenge and hycct cover-up challenge, and tomorrow's sketch dt challenge to do. Plus mod shift. I'll take photos of the damage after those are done.

Feels freakishly clean.

Talk about messy craft rooms! Last week I needed a tiny bit of extra space so I put my wireless mouse somewhere safe. I had to use a spare one in the meantime because the "safe" one turned up just now in my box of circle punches, LOL.

is it the same as your recipe?
Similar but not quite....this is the basic starting point recipe I use
Acorn Squash Brown Butter Spaghetti but I've kind of adapted it to be more like an alfredo sauce by adding a bit of half and half and parmesan at the end. I roast my squash, unpeeled an cubed on a baking sheet in the oven then add it in at the end. Super yummy!

Yes, put an insert inside the card so people can write on it.
