what about Almond Milk? ( I see that in a lot of flavors now when Im at the grocery store...)
which brands taste good??
I don't like to just drink almond milk unless it's chocolate. To use in stuff, I get the vanilla. And I don't like almond milk in coffee. That said, I haven't found much difference between brands. I usually buy what's on sale.

owns a machine shop... so we have 4 certified welders and one of them ( the single guy) is doing some welding at a geothermal well site being drilled by an out of state co. that normally only does oil and natural gas... so, they are trying to figure out what they are doing looking for water. and hubs is playing chauffeur for this employee mostly. ( the others we have passed the certification tests in the past but, the companies they worked for held the certificates and we just get them to pass and then do it in their own names...) SO when the other two get papered... we will have some kind of a schedule for this run to the well at all / any hours and work for just a little while ( an hour or two ) supposedly they are going to be done with it in 3 months. ( and they are working tomorrow so who knows maybe they will.
but we are primarily an machine shop with fabrication capabilities that sells dry ice on the side. and a lot of the fab shops around here let their bonds and such expire from lack of work and so... we've done a lot of hand rails this year

I'm on the Spellbinders website, I must say that I have to expand my horizons with updated supplies. I only own 4 Spellbinders sets of dies. It's always hard to make up your mind with what you want.

the ones that would be impossible to cut by hand is where I would start...
(like circles) but, honestly I use my ovals more than circles...
you could do a poll?
my hands down favorite set is called labels trio... ( I use this for sentiments, I have a lot of skinny rectangular shaped sentiments that fit on them) so I can stamp those on scraps and die cut them for future use...

I love SpellBinders - I hate to even admit to how many sets I have - and I sure don't tell DH! Fixing to order some more, too,

I live in suburbia - but Austin is very wild - we have these giant greenbelts, lakes and creeks throughout the town and we live shoulder to shoulder with deer, coyotes, foxes, porcupines, rattlesnakes, you name it. More than once when I've done my early morning walks in the dark, a coyote has brushed by my leg on the way to a snack. It's unnerving.
YIKES!! That would do in the early morning walks for me Lydia. You're braver than I am.

I need fancy circles & label stuff, I always have to find them when they're 50% off or clearance...I'm in awww with the website that's for sure & the winner of those will be very happy. There's 10 chances to win too.

no they wouldn't. they love doggies. Mine is not allowed out unless he's on a leash.
a while back there was a story on TV about a woman finding a 7-1/2 foot gator in her bathroom (can't even imagine) and I thougt they were exaggerating but they had footage of the wild life guy taking the thing out of the house. HOLY COW!!! The thing was huge and it was wild, it was thrashing around ready to kill something.
This story was on several times over a couple days and I kept asking - how the heck did it get in there. finally someone reported that the thing came in through her doggie door. ACK! why not put out the "welcome gators" sign too.

I have a lot more than 4 Spellbinders sets, but still have only a small % of what I'd like to have. They really have some wonderful dies, and I always have a hard time picking out just one set. I usually only get them when I have a 40-60% coupon at HL or Mikes.

Ya, that's what I do too. I'm thinking maybe on Black Friday, I may sneak over at Michaels, oh wait a minute I'll be at Joanns at 6:00am picking out some fabrics for a quilt, I should browse in that department too.
pie is in the oven! Had to make the top crust twice; first version got overworked and wouldn't come together. Second version was better but far from perfect. I'm calling it rustic!
Taking a break for a few minutes before heading back to the kitchen to chop veggies for appetizers.
Going back on some of your galleries for the HYCCT, how did I miss so many galleries. So many beautiful cards in there.
I know! I still haven't made it through all of them either. I made it a goal to get through them all by the end of November. Not sure I'm going to be able to do that. I might have if I hadn't been chatting on this thread during Lydia's torture. Even after I won my prize, I want to see who else wins.
It's past midnight so I bid you all goodnight. If Lydia's back with prizes I wish you all luck.
Happy turkey day to those celebrating and everybody else, have a great day.
I am grateful for a place to share my passion for crafting with like minded people, and have such fun with them. thank you all for the sharing and caring.

If you have a good sized Joann's you may be able to score big-time. I picked up a four pack in there for $74 last year! Oops I lied. I think it was like $59.00. Small and large sets of squares and scalloped squares, or circles. Be SURE to look, anyway. Have made some good hauls on eBay, too!

Reason: Correct info

I do not have consistent luck with pie crusts. Good for you for persevering. I just put a bowl with Dutch Oven bread to set overnight on the counter. One more rising (1.5 hours) in the a.m., then pop in the oven and hope it turns out. If so, I'll take that to my friends' house for dinner. If it doesn't turn out, I'll show up with a smile and gratitude. (She said I didn't need to bring anything.)
Baking is always a gamble for me as my oven is very unreliable. It's a cheap one the builder put in the house and I haven't been able to afford to replace it, especially since I don't use the oven all that much.
