Wow, you guys talked a lot while I was away! Congrats to the new winners. Loved Downtown Season 1 but was not as wowed by the 2nd season. However, my 15yo DD loves it so it is fun to have something that we like to do together.
Just talked with one of the swim moms about kids not wanting to wear coats in winter....I've got a couple of those and all of mine are anti-socks and shoes. I've always thought that had something to do with homeschooling and being around the house all day barefoot.
We had Chutney Chicken over brown rice, yummmmm! Love crock pot meals!
Holy Cow -- I see I'm the only one who left the computer for a few hours today!
Welcome Emily! I look forward to getting to chat with you.
My Other gets very nervous when I invite the computer people to the house! When we first moved here, I had made "friends" with a scrapbook yahoo group. I invited them to a crop at my house and all you heard all night was my husband trying to explain to my kids why it is not a good idea to invite people from the internet to your house -- unless they are mommy's scrapbook people. They are the only safe ones LOL!
hubby dragged me out to Best Buy. I fixed his butt and got me some videos. and now I am so far behind, I can't believe how much you guys are yakking. I'm afraid of how many pages you'll do when I go to sleep.
we live near Cleveland, northeast, about an hour from the PA border.
for a long time the school system tried to outlaw shorts and flip flops during the winter, especially when we had several feet of snow on the ground. but too many parents complained about it. they said if their kids wanted to wear shorts in the snow they should be allowed to.
my boys always said that they had Hobbit feet themselves, so the snow never bothered them. none of us like to wear shoes in our family, so it makes perfect sense to me. ha! must be our Native American blood....
okay, y'all have fun cheering on the rest of the winners! I am heading off to bed for the night. it's early, but I'm still having troubles from my radiation treatments and seizures they have caused.
will be back tomorrow to say my 'hoorahs' for all of you!
WOOHOO!! It doesn't get much better than this - I made cards, which I love to do, to support those who are going through what I went through last year and I won a prize for doing it. AWESOME!
Thanks much to Lee for picking my number and to cutcardstock for the prize!

Birthday dinner all gobbled up!
I love Downton Abbey! Watched both Season 1 and Season 2 in about 4 days time! Waiting for Seasion 3 to begin in January.
Belated Birthday Greeting, Vicki, and Congrats to all the winners so far- DD and I spent the day doing early Christmas shopping near Seattle. I love the Downton Abbey series and our family has been enjoying Dr. Who alot! Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings! BTW I totally want one of those scrapboxes, Lydia!

OMG! I had no idea you had started picking winners already (a little in the doghouse today for accidentally self-nominating for tutoring shifts forgetting today was Veteran's Day and hubby has the day off).
THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I LOVE The Greeting Farm!! Their images and wicked cute and so much fun to color!
Thanks to Muzbysmom for picking the number that resulted in my win and Lydia for the cute cat picture she included. I was only able to complete 8 cards this year, not one for each challenge like last year, I never expected to win anything, just making cards for a great cause...
Holy Cow! I am so far behind on this thread. I just got here and have 16 pages to catch up on. It will however have to wait until morning. It is almost time for me to go drool over Alex O'Laughlin on Hawaii Five 0. Have a good night all!

did we lose Lydia to the wonder of the Scrapbox?
Home from work finally and had an easy dinner of tomato soup and grilled cheese. Now I think I will shuffle the laundry and work on some cards!
I think Lydia's lost with her new Scrapbox, Congrats to all the winners again. I should go lay down, I've gotten a headache. I have to get up at 4:30 in the morning, but I get to leave by 3:00 & that's not always the case. I might as well take advantage of it. I'm making my assistant close tomorrow & Thursday plus Friday.

Maybe I should give you a challenge for tonight!
I want you guys to guess the TOTAL number of views for all cards in the HYCCT gallery - the closest without going over will win our first prize tomorrow - how does that sound?

So, I've read 16 pages of chat that I'm bummed I had to miss today...and I'll miss the daytime stalking tomorrow too. Medical emergency in my family and I have grandkid responsibilities outside the ordinary. Keep that in your prayers, K?

Wow... over 600 posts to catch up on. With a little bit of luck, I'll catch up before Lydia starts drawing tomorrow morning. LOL
Congrats to the first group of winners.
My guess for total views in the HYCCT gallery: 528,326

1,000,000
Ok, now no one is allowed to look at the gallery, because I don't want the number to increase.
Unless my number is too low (hint, Lydia?), in which case, go check out all my cards a few dozen times, please.
