Hooray for the winners!!! Just drove across Houston with an angry screaming baby, but home now and they're all asleep!
Oh goodness. Traffic is bad enough without that! I'm afraid to drive on 610 on a good day by myself. I'm glad you made it home and have some quiet time now.
My cat is chewing on the Christmas tree. I guess he's hungry since my stamp room door is shut and there's no glue dots or trash to snack on.
hahaha
A friend posted on fb the other day that her little boy was sucking on an insole from her husband's shoes....ick. The things pets and kiddos find to eat. oh.my.word

Oh, there's nothing worse than an upset child when you are trying to drive. You can't just stop in the middle of the road and if you just keep going you'll get there faster, but at the same time you want to stop and console them. It's been a while since I have had that to deal with but I do understand the feelings and remember those days.
I have had a grandaughter episode or two over the las few years.
Glad you got them all to sleep!

My Special cheeseburger will be on Dec 12th in memory of my late friend. His birthday is that day, we are doing a virtual cheeseburger day in his memory, 1 because he was a chef & 2 that's what his favorite was. He would create cheeseburgers I would of never thought of. We have to take a picture & post it on FB.
I think everybody except vegetarians loves a cheeseburger. I read somewhere that it's the most requested meal for prisoners before they're executed. Just thought I'd share...
One of my cats always makes a telltale howling sound as she tries to meow with something in her mouth. Usually she's bringing me a toy to play fetch, but last night she dropped off one of my stamps a few feet from me. It was my fault for leaving it on the kitchen counter... but still...mine!

hey, we love cheeseburgers too! Just the non-meat kind! I've even got a belated birthday dinner planned at Red Robin tomorrow night...veggie cheeseburger, steak fries, and ranch dressing...nomnomnom!

My dog does that... if I toss laundry on the floor to hit the shower when I come out I find a sock in the livingroom on her bed. ( its not chewed... not sure what she is doing with them)

No way, Jose! I was just off browsing checking out what a "60 combo holder" was and why one would need one for Christmas every year. So, of course, I need one too and LUCKY ME, Christmas came early thanks to the generous sponsors and the magic number machine!!!!

so was the drive to put the baby to sleep? ( mine only slept when the vehicle was moving... you stopped and turned it off sleep time ended)
Ha! No. I took the kids to my mom's library for storytime and she lives on the opposite side of Houston from me. Then we had to wait out traffic to come home and by then Amelia was cranky and did not want to be in her seat. She finally went to sleep after 30 min or so.

And congrats to the stamp storage winners! Great prize
Gosh, my Great Pyrenees used to dig & we laid out wire mesh down in the dirt, then covered it with dirt & planted grass. He didn't dig after that. Ellie doesn't dig although she likes to scratch the carpet before she lays down.

Lordy - I can't even handle driving across Austin - the thought of driving across Houston gives me the willies!
